🌟 **Introducing Our Featured Speaker: Khalid B. Scott** 🌟

We are excited to welcome Khalid B. Scott, MSW, LCSW, CADC, an award-winning social work professional, as a featured speaker at our upcoming Community Empowerment Breakfast!

With over 30 years of experience, Khalid currently serves as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Substance Use Disorder Specialist at the Department of Veterans Affairs and in private practice. He is also a dedicated college lecturer and trainer across numerous universities, including UIC, DePaul, and California State University.

Khalid is the author of nine books, a motivational speaker, a veteran of the US Army and Illinois Army National Guard, and a proud five-time Father of the Year. In addition to his professional work, he mentors adults and youth and is a passionate advocate for healing and empowerment.

🌊 **Meet Our Featured Speaker: Peter Bradley** 🌊

We are honored to welcome Peter Bradley, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and CEO of Bradley Counseling and Consulting LLC, as a featured speaker at our upcoming Community Empowerment Breakfast: "Building Bridges, Healing Trauma." The breakfast is Saturday, May 17th, from 9AM to 1PM at Kennedy-King College.

With over 30 years of compassionate service, Peter combines cultural humility, spirituality, encouragement, and humor to support families, couples, and individuals on their mental health journeys. A two-time graduate of Governors State University, Peter holds a BA in Psychology and an MA in Counseling, specializing in community services.
