Hey Godmommy, this is your first goddaughter and your favorite 😉. Your babies did one hell of a job pulling the celebration of life together in your loving memory. I know you had front row seats to the beautiful show that was put on today.

I tried my best to be strong and lead with love, just as you always did. I will miss you so, so much. You were always the person I could come to about anything, and you never judged, always supported everyone.

There are no words that can truly describe the depth of this loss. I won’t try to understand how God chooses who He calls home or when. Instead, I will focus on how He blessed me, and so many others, with the opportunity to share this life with someone so amazing.

I choose to hold onto the lessons you taught me along this journey and the grace you carried in everything you did. Forever and always, Godmommy.

This loss will be mourned deeply… this hurts… but I’ve learned how to smile through the pain and turn pain into purpose. For everything the enemy has ever taken from me, God has returned tenfold.
