“Her crimson was on all of us. Splattered on tiles. Landing on clothing. We were stained with life's blood. We were joyous. They were born right in front of us. This chaotically beautiful scene was as powerful as it looks.

After her placenta's cord pulsed white, delivering all the blood to her newborn, she maintained eye contact with her baby. It kept her present, releasing endorphins as she delivered that beautiful organ.

Birth happens everywhere.
In beds
In water
In cars
In parking lots
In hallways
On tables
On toilets.
I'll forever love this image.

I'm not sure what it is about my redhead clients but literally all of them have had dramatic blood no matter the setting. 😂 Mama & baby were fine & are fine. Especially in Janine's care.❤
