This is a bit embarrassing to share but just know I get it and I’ve been there. I know what it feels like to not feel you.

I know what it feels like to hate you in “your new skin”, yet not feel like yourself.

I know how what it’s like to drown yourself and eat yet still not feel satisfied.

It’s an ugly feeling y’all. It really is.

Change doesn’t happen overtime. A lot of goes into changing yourself.

And there’s times where you’ll give up but it’s not worth it. You’re worth it.

Change starts within you. With telling yourself that you will no longer tolerate the bu****it excuses of why you’re not living a healthy lifestyle.

This is Your body. Your mind. Your healthy! Your life we are talking about here.

Although many of these posts are directed towards those who are ready to take the action to change, this to is to being awareness through my fitness journey.

I’ve realized over the years that this has turned out to be more than a journey to be fit.

It’s a journey to change my lifestyle and love my best life. Without limitations!

This is your reminder to get your water jugs ready and stay hydrated.

You always hear, “drink 8 glasses of water.”

It really is easier said.

I had the 8 water bottles out before but it was messing with my mind. Next thing I know, I misplaced the water bottle I had.

Like they say, don’t change what is already working.

Im feeling It!!!! Happy Tuesday!!

Can y’all feel this vibe?

A very slight change in your lifestyle yields positive changes in your health, body and mind.

Choose to focus on all the reasons why you will succeed, it always seems impossible until it’s done.

My body has changed so much. Whether I intentionally worked through it or uncontrollable factors.

There were many instances that I just wanted to change it, I hated it so bad.

Deep down it is never about physical appearance. It’s the desire to be loved. To be liked or wanted. The pressure to be seen.

As I began to become self aware and focused on taking care of my mind these last 3 weeks, the way I view my body and see myself has changed.

I’ve learned that my worth, how much I am loved, and who I am has nothing to do with the size or shape of my body.

Its me vs myself, every day a little better. The thing about starting over again is that you start again with experience!

5 years today, I started my fitness journey!

Even though I’ve always been a sporty and fit person, this journey was different.

It’s a healing journey. Starting with lots of understanding, forgiveness and awareness.

At 235 lbs, in December of 2017 I felt so angry, frustrated and depressed at where I was. I had already spent months in those feelings and having a newborn made things a bit trickier.

I was so ashamed and I didn’t want to see anyone.

With breast milk, baby throw up and tears running down my face I made the decision to be better and get fit not only for my family but for myself.

The journey has been rough. There had been many times I gave up and quit.

There has been times where I didn’t quit. But overtime I have created habits and routines that are sustainable for a working momma like myself and you too.

Today I know that the number on the scale doesn’t define your worth. You’re already worth it.

One of the reasons I show up consistently is for my mission to transform the health, body and mind of women around the world.

With my stories, reels and posts my intention is to inspire, educate and have a little fun on this journey of ours.

I hope you follow or continue to follow my journey and pushes you to continue your journey.

I’ll post my progress over the last year, my results from the last 15 days and some tools to support you through this experience.

Day 12: it doesn’t get easier we are just getting stronger and creating a lifestyle.

How to plan your meals for each meal. This is what I use.

This is an intake of 1,400 calories I believe. I’ll double check that for ya.

Breakfast:
1/3 cup or 2.5 oz of healthy fats
1/2 cup or 4 oz of carbs
3/4 cup or 6 oz of lean meat/protein

Snack:
1 cup or 8 oz of vegetables
3/4 cup or 6 oz of lean meat/protein

Lunch:
1 cup or 8 oz of vegetables
1/2 cup or 4 oz of fruit
2 tbs or 1 oz of seeds & dressing

Snack:
1/2 cup or 4 oz of fruit
1 cup or 8 oz of vegetables

Dinner:
1 cup or 8 oz of vegetables
3/4 cup or 6 oz of lean meat/protein
1/2 cup or 4 oz of carbs

Day 7: Trust YOURSELF AND YOURJOURNEY, Really, TRUST!

You just have to trust yourself on this journey that no matter what, you will continue to seek what is best for you, your body and your mind.

This is only as serious as you want it to be and the journey is very much real.

There is no magic pill that can be swallowed today that will give us the results. True peace and love comes from doing it for the better of yourself.

The journey will test us and setbacks will feel devastating but they aren’t permanent or here to stay. We have full control of our choice to keep moving forward, one step at a time.

2lbs ⬇️ down. This is a lifestyle.

I am healthy. I am love. I am peace.

If you are feeling unworthy of yourself, it’s ok.
Just know YOU ARE WORTH IT!

If you haven’t tried meditation in a group setting, highly recommend it.

As part of this journey, my intention is to heal and transform my health, body and mind.

Let me tell you. I thought it would be quirky but it was actual such a great experience.

Today, for the purposes of the experience I did it on a fast. Yep, no breakfast or lunch. Really intensified my experience.

But it was very healing. I came home feeling really in tuned with my femininity. ✨✨🧘🏻‍♀️

I just finished a 35 minute yoga session that was blissful to say the least.

As Sunday comes to an end, reflect on how you want to feel this week coming up. What can you do for yourself to make you feel more YOU, or “HER” (the higher, bestest you)?
