WEEK ONE OF TRAINING FOR IRONMAN 70.3 MUNCIE IS COMPLETE!!!

Being patient with myself at this phase is tough. All of me wants to be doing more on the run, swim, and bike, but we need to ease into this new mix while maintaining strength!

The schedule this week was not perfect, but I’m proud of myself for getting on the bike and getting in the water for the first time in a very long time!!!

This is an absolute dream come true. Beyond excited to share that this year I will be partnering with

My triathlon journey has been on pause for the past two years. Back in 2021 I completed my first ever “DIY” 140.6, followed by 2 official Ironman 140.6 - Muncie (yes they had a full for a year) and Chattanooga!

This will be my first ever 70.3! I can’t wait to see what I can do on this flat & fast course!!

We have a lot of building to do.
183 days until Ironman Muncie 70.3.

STAYING FUELED IN 2026!! ⛽️

📺Episode 19 of trying different types of running fuel so you don’t have to! (Of course, what works for me might not work for you!! Learn about new gels with me and try them for yourself before race day!!)

I’ve been on the Maurten Gel train since my Ironman days, but with so many fueling options out there, I’m on a mission to branch out!!

Today’s pull from The Feed: Carbs Fuel

I reviewed the packaging, texture, flavor, and took it on a run to see how my stomach would handle it.

Packaging:
✅ Easy to open
✅ Easy to carry a TON

Texture:
✅ Thick Liquid
✅ Easy to get down entire gel in one go

Flavor:
✅ 2/10 on the sweetness scale
✅ Almost completely flavorless

Stomach Feel:
✅No issues
✅Had great energy during the run

If we haven’t met yet, hi I’m Rylee, Coach Rylee to some. I have a degree in fitness and wellness, I’m a certified run coach, strength coach, and nutritionist, and I get to work with some pretty incredible women every day.

This series is especially for beginner to intermediate runners who are training for a half marathon or marathon and want to learn how to run faster in a smart, sustainable way.

Everything fell apart in the 200m but we can only go up from here 😂🏊‍♀️

Happy to be back in the pool! I started swimming in 2020 while training for my first Ironman and remember how hard swimming just ONE length of the pool was. I would be gasping for air.

I didn’t regress to beginner me, but we have a lot of work to do over the next few months!!

After a few weeks of practice I’m excited to retest and HOPEFULLY see some progress!!

Swimmers: why is one of my arms going so much higher than the other? And how are you doing flip turns? 🫠😂
