Condolence Announcement

On behalf of Elder Dante L. Perkins Sr. and the entire D. L. Perkins & Sons Funeral Home, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Cook Family in the passing of your beloved Mother Barbara Cook.

While we mourn her transition, we also rejoice in the promise of eternal life, knowing that “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:8). Mother Cook’s love, wisdom, and unwavering faith have left an indelible mark on all who knew her, and her legacy will continue to shine through the lives she touched.

During this time of grief, may you find peace in the words of Jesus:
“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” (John 14:1-2)
