New UHI Volunteer Spotlight! Kenneth “Kenny” White - Violence Recovery Specialist III ✨

In his role, Kenneth responds to patients treated at UChicago Medicine’s Level 1 Trauma Center for community and interpersonal violence, including gunshot wounds, stabbings, and assaults. He provides psychological first aid, conducts safety assessments, supports patients and families emotionally, and addresses social-determinant barriers by connecting them to essential resources and ongoing case management.
