What a weekend! On Saturday, June 28th, our Patient Advocates were at the South Side Health Community Organization's Health Fair at Shine Bright Community Organization, providing resources and sharing general healthcare navigation info!

We also had our Community Health Workers by the DuSable Museum for the Liasons in Care (LinC) Resource fair, talking with attendees regarding health screenings, health education, and free resources available to South Side residents via the LinC program.

Gun Violence Prevention Month ends Monday, June 30—and there’s still time to act. I’m supporting UChicago Medicine’s Violence Recovery Program, which provides bedside response, long-term care, and healing for survivors of intentional violence.
