When I was a kid I had horrible seasonal allergies. Boy do I wish we had all the options for treatment back then that we do now.

Today's video talks about the symptoms of seasonal allergies and the most common and effective treatment options that are out there.

Knowing YOU (Mom) will be taken care of after you bring your baby home isn't worth it...
..It's ESSENTIAL!!!! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸΏπŸ‘πŸ½

After you have a baby, you will be:
1. Healing your own body from a huge event (labor and delivery ain't easy!)
2. Needing to see your pediatrician 1-3 times in the first 2 weeks, and likely 4-5 times in 6 weeks! (But possibly not seeing your OB at all.)
3. Trying to figure out how to feed your baby and how to tell what your baby wants when.
4. Worried about every little hiccup, sneeze, spot on the skin, p**p that looks a little different from the last, and little grunt or groan your baby makes.
5. Navigating a whole new role as a mother or parent or trying to figure out how to be a family with one more kiddo if it's not your first rodeo.
6. Having major hormone shifts that can wreak havoc on your moods.

Our postpartum 4th Trimester packages will give you....
1. Convenience! A pediatrician who comes to you! πŸ‘©πŸ»β€βš•οΈπŸ©ΊπŸ‘πŸ«Ά
2. Knowledge and answers. Text your pediatrician with any of your questions instead of going down the Google rabbit hole and making yourself more worried!
3. Mental health screening, BP and wound checks for you, pelvic floor dysfunction screening, check-ins with your partner and other kiddos to make sure everyone is doing OK.
4. Time. Time with your doc - appointments usually aren't under an hour long, and sometimes can be up to 2 hours if needed!
5. Infant feeding support. Whether you're breastfeeding or giving formula by bottle or anything in between, you'll have someone knowledgeable to help guide you.
6. So much less to worry about!
And....
7. The postpartum care for Mom and Baby that you DESERVE.

Sometimes babies need to take bottles instead of eating at the breast, for a variety of reasons (including parental choice). If the ultimate goal is to have the baby back at the breast to nurse, there are things you can do to help your baby get there and not develop a bottle preference πŸ€±πŸ½πŸ€±πŸΏπŸ€±πŸΌπŸ§‘πŸ½β€πŸΌπŸ€±πŸΎπŸ€±πŸ€±πŸ»

This is gonna sound silly but I've always loved the molecule "bilirubin." Maybe you can guess why.

Jaundice happens when levels of a molecule called bilirubin build up in our bloodstream. This can happen for many reasons, but it is extremely common after birth and must be monitored closely to make sure it doesn't get to dangerous levels for a baby.

Check out today's video to learn more about the jaundice that occurs in newborns - when and why we worry, what the numbers mean, what the risk factors are, and how we treat it.

There are several factors that can predispose someone to having low milk production. These conditions do not guarantee low production, but they are associated with it so it's helpful to be aware of this and get counseling prior to having your baby so you can understand your situation and what you can do about it 🍼
