If you feel bloated, heavy, or sluggish after meals, your digestion might need a little support. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, your Spleen and Stomach are the core of digestion. They turn food into energy and help move everything through your body.

When they are overworked from cold foods, stress, or eating too fast, digestion slows down. You feel stuck, tired, or uncomfortable.

Simple ways to support digestion:
Eat warm, cooked meals
Avoid distractions while eating
Chew slowly and stick to regular mealtimes

Our T35: Stomach Tonic Herbal Tea is designed to strengthen digestion, ease bloating, and help your body feel lighter and more comfortable after meals. It's a gentle, everyday way to care for your core.

In TCM, each emotion is linked to an organ. The Liver is tied to anger, frustration, and resentment. When we suppress or overexpress these emotions, Liver Qi becomes stagnant leading to tension, mood swings, digestive upset, or menstrual irregularity.

If you find yourself feeling irritable, easily triggered, or “on edge,” your Liver may be asking for support.

Your body sends signals all the time through your mood, your cycle, your skin, and your energy. If you’ve ever felt like your hormones are off, but everything looks fine on paper, you’re not imagining it.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, hormonal balance isn’t about one single hormone. It’s about how your Liver, Spleen, and Kidneys are working together.

The Liver keeps your energy and emotions flowing. When it’s stuck, you might feel irritable, bloated, or get PMS.
The Spleen supports digestion and energy. If it’s weak, your body can’t build the Blood and nutrients needed for balance.
The Kidneys are the root of reproductive health. If they’re depleted, you may feel tired, anxious, or notice irregular cycles.

Hormonal imbalance in TCM often shows up as mood swings, fatigue, painful periods, skin changes, or feeling emotionally off.

So how do we support balance?
Not with restriction or control, but with nourishment and rhythm.

Eat warm, cooked meals to strengthen digestion
Go to bed before midnight to protect Kidney energy
Move your body gently to support Liver flow
And try herbal teas that bring your body back into harmony

Our T13: Blood and Qi Tonic helps nourish and move Blood, supporting regular cycles and overall vitality
Our T22: Relaxing Herbal Tea calms the Liver, soothes mood swings, and helps ease emotional stress

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Lungs are more than just a respiratory system, they’re your breath, your energy, your boundary with the outside world.

The Lungs are called the “delicate organ” because they’re easily affected by external factors: dry air, wind, cold, pollution, grief, even emotional overwhelm. They govern your Qi (vital energy), control the skin and sweat, and help protect your body from external illness. When your Lungs are strong, you breathe deeply, feel energized, have a healthy immune response, and your skin glows.

But when your Lungs are out of balance, you might notice:

- Dry throat, dry cough, or hoarseness
- Shallow breathing or fatigue
- Skin dryness or irritation
- Chest tightness or lingering sadness

That’s where T02 Lung Detox comes in, a gentle herbal formula crafted to clear heat, soothe the throat, and restore Lung Qi. Ideal for those recovering from coughs, dry sinuses, or simply wanting to protect their breath and energy.

🌿 Featured Formula:
T02 Lung Detox for dry cough, sore throat, hoarseness, chest discomfort, or mild fever. Now available at arcaneherb.com!

In TCM, your Kidneys store your vital essence and govern growth, aging, and reproductive health. They’re your deep reserves, your backup battery. When you're exhausted at your core, it often points to a depletion of Kidney energy.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, aging gracefully isn’t just about looks; it’s about preserving your core energy, nourishing your blood, and keeping your spirit grounded. These three herbs have been trusted for centuries to support longevity, resilience, and inner glow.

TCM reminds us: Aging well begins with balance. When your Qi flows smoothly and your essence is nourished, your whole system can age with more ease, clarity, and grace.

🌼 Chinese Herb Spotlight: Chrysanthemum (Ju Hua 菊花)
Light, floral, and deeply cooling, Chrysanthemum has been a beloved herb in Traditional Chinese Medicine for centuries. Sipped as a tea or blended into herbal formulas, it does more than just taste refreshing. It clears internal heat, brightens the eyes, and calms a restless mind.

Traditionally, Ju Hua is used to disperse Wind and clear Heat, especially from the Liver and upper body. When your Liver is overheated, it may show up as red, dry, or irritated eyes, headaches, irritability, or blurry vision. Chrysanthemum helps restore a sense of lightness and clarity, both physically and mentally.

💡 Modern use often highlights Ju Hua's antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It is a go-to for those who spend long hours on screens, feel heat rising in the body, or experience stress-related tension in the head and eyes.

TCM focuses on helping your body release the heat and restore balance, rather than just suppressing symptoms.

In TCM, most colds and flus fall under something called Wind Invasion, either Wind-Cold or Wind-Heat, depending on your symptoms.

• If you're sneezing, shivering, have a stiff neck, and clear mucus, that’s Wind-Cold.
• If you have a sore throat, yellow mucus, body heat, or fever, that’s more Wind-Heat.

Our T11: Honeysuckle & Forsythia Cold Herbal Tea is crafted with classic herbs like honeysuckle, forsythia, and mint to clear heat, soothe the throat, and support your immune response. Sip it warm at the first sign of discomfort to help your body recover naturally and gently.

Your Heart doesn’t just keep you alive, it holds your Shen, or spirit. When your Heart is calm and nourished, you feel mentally clear, emotionally steady, and connected to yourself. When it’s disturbed, anxiety, insomnia, or mental restlessness appear.

Some days, it hits out of nowhere.
You’re not in crisis. Nothing major happened.
But your chest feels tight, your thoughts are racing or you feel heavy, blank, and disconnected from yourself.
You can’t explain it, but you feel off.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, emotions don’t just live in the mind.
They live in the body, too.

When your Liver Qi gets stuck, often from stress or emotional buildup, it creates pressure. That pressure can feel like anxiety, irritability, or the sense that something isn’t quite right even if nothing’s “wrong.”

On the other side, when your Heart or Spleen energy is low, it can show up as emotional heaviness. You might feel unmotivated, tired, numb, or like the color has drained out of life a little.
Not sad exactly. Just… flat.

TCM sees emotions as a reflection of how your energy is moving or not moving inside.

This doesn’t mean you’re broken.
It means your body is speaking in feelings, asking for care.

Try this gentle support:
• Take a slow walk outside. Movement helps release stuck Liver Qi.
• Eat warm, nourishing foods like soups or congee to support your Spleen.
• Sip a cup of T22: Relaxing Herbal Tea, a soothing blend to help release tension, calm the mind, and gently rebalance your mood.

You don’t have to wait for a breakdown to start tending to your energy.
Sometimes the most powerful healing comes from small, daily care.
