Sometimes we paint pictures. And sometimes … we paint relationships. Parent & Me Creations Workshops are not ONLY about painting together and having fun. They are a time of bonding, a lesson in relationships, patience, acceptance, and the art of creating memories. It’s also a space for creativity, mindfulness, and imagination to flow freely.

For parents, it’s a practice in being a guide. A role that isn’t always easy, yet deeply meaningful and beautiful.
It asks for patience, openness, and LOVE. A love that doesn’t control, but walks beside and supports.

For me, it’s a true joy and privilege to guide the whole group. Each workshop is an invitation to mindfulness, to being present with ourselves and with one another. I share a project idea, demonstrate a few techniques and steps, and then… I let go. Everyone is free to create in their own way. I don’t correct. I don’t interfere. But when someone asks - I’m there with gentle guidance.

Sometimes, a person asks for help but chooses not to take it, and that’s okay too. Moments like that often bring a touch of frustration, yet they become a quiet teacher of life. Because that’s when patience steps in, openness awakens, and the courage to create from your own imagination begins to bloom. And that, to me, is priceless. With each gathering, I see more trust, more freedom, and more joy shining through every brushstroke.

My heart fills with warmth watching these beautiful transformations, seeing each person paint their life in their own colors. Because these workshops are not just about painting pictures. They’re about painting life itself. About giving yourself permission to create, explore, and learn that there’s no single “right” way. Every way is a good way, it just brings different results. And the choice always belongs to you and your child. Just like in life. And here, in this safe space, you get to practice that together.

Tomorrow’s new moon brings an invitation to harmony - in relationships, in your home, in your body, and in your heart. But before a new beginning arrives, Libra encourages you to let go of what disrupts your balance - of what no longer resonates with your inner truth.

It’s time to create space. Space for a new breath, for a new quality of love, for peace that doesn’t need control - only trust. Space for harmony in relationships - with others, and with yourself.

This new moon asks: Can you be as gentle with yourself as you are with others? Can you hear yourself not only when it’s quiet… but also when something inside you screams, rushes, and spins? Because it’s right there - in your inner dance - that a new harmony is born. Not the perfect one, but the true one. YOURS.

I’m back!
After 5 magical weeks in Arizona, co-hosting three beautiful Slavic Sisters Retreats with my soul sister Margo MalGosia Burdek, my heart is overflowing with gratitude.
Gratitude to the sacred Arizona land, to both Full Moons, the New Moon, and the eclipses… to every person I met, every lesson, every challenge.
I’m deeply exhausted and deeply fulfilled at the same time. 💚
I love my life… and I love what I do.
And now… I AM READY!

Midsummer is considered a magical date in which the veil is thin (just like in Samhain or Halloween) and when we are closer to the spirit world. That's why it's linked to many festivities all around the world, especially in Europe. Most of them linked to bonfires and celebration of the fertility of Earth.
In Baltic and Slavic countries this time is often called Kupala Night (Noc Kupaly), a Slavic pagan holiday associated with the summer solstice and celebrated with fire and water rituals.
In this region, there was a belief that Ferns actually bloom with its magic flower. Flower of immortality.
We all know Ferns do not bloom but that doesn't mean there aren't legends about it.
The fern flowers receive different names in Baltic mythology (Latvian: papardes zieds,Lithuanian: paparčio žiedas, Estonian: sõnajalaõis) and Slavic (Belarusian: папараць-кветка, Polish: kwiat paproci, Russian: цветок папоротника, Ukrainian: цвіт папороті).
They are considered of magic nature and thus only bloom on Midsummer. We find similar references in Sweden regarding "Daphne Flowers.
The tradition was that most people stay up, by the bonfire, in Poland girls/maidens would weave crowns with wild flowers and release them into a river or a lake. Then there were found by young men and the courting/mating would begin.
Simillar traditions were in Latvia, women weaved flower wreaths but the men made crowns with oak leaves, and sang Līgo songs, a truely wonderful heritage, a collection of ancient songs called Dainas that worship Nature.
So these rare fern flowers only can be found on this magical night. It's said that finding that flower would provide the ability to understand animals and earthly riches but careful because it is linked to the spirit world and so it's usually said that if you find one you should pick it with caution.
Later the Ferns were also linked to fertility in Christian traditions.
It's wonderful to see how many of these traditions are still alive and Slavs gather for the Midsummer festivities not only back in the motherland but also all over the world.
I love these traditions and I remember a lot from growing up in the land of Slavic people.
I am happy to bring a little bit of it to our beautiful Arizona with Midsummer gathering this Friday night.
