He opened a medical cannabis consultation practice in Chicago, in summer 2023. A graduate of George Washington University’s School of Medicine (1985), Dr. Bialek is board-certified in Family Medicine (Canada). He has also been a clinical faculty member in Family Medicine at the University of Toronto and the University of Arizona, as well as Professor of Cannabis Medicine at Kathmandu University, Nepal. These credentials led Dr. Bialek to a career as a family physician in both Canada and the United States, diagnosing and/or managing patients of all ages suffering from most diseases. Since opening his medical cannabis practice in Colorado, Dr. Bialek has examined more than 5,000 patients through Colorado’s Medical Marijuana Registry Program. He combines his wealth of clinical experience with an understanding of the science behind the medicine. Dr. Bialek designs specific treatment plans for each patient, based on the symptoms to be managed and the diseases that cause them.
