Is it just me or is this iPhone making me look prettier?

Clean eating in my opinion is good you’re cooking with the most whole food ingredients you can manage. If you’re trying to lose weight avoid high calorie dressings, too much cheese or too much oil and you’re in a good spot.

I was not always a gym guy. I spent most of my life overweight getting picked on. I carry that kid with me every single day. I am here for every person who didn’t or still doesn’t feel comfortable in the gym.

I’m already proud of you.

The gym has been healing for me in so many ways in addition to actually going to therapy.

I built myself into a superhero that my inner child only just realized. It was incredibly healing to look at my progress through the eyes of the kid that was picked on for so long.

Wherever you are at in your journey, you’re awesome, you’re worth the effort, I’m already proud of you!

I love a calculated risk. Weighing my options giving it a try, adjusting a trying again. It’s the same attitude that has served me so well in fitness I won’t shy away from hard work if I fall I know I’m trying. A change of environment or even a slight adjustment to your approach can be the difference between success and failure. You won’t ever find out if you quit on the first try. We can all learn a thing or two from our 14 year old selves. Take the risk and keep doing it for life. Knowing what to eat post workout is scary.

And protein snacks can be very tempting as the macho man says. Snap into a slim Jim.

Honestly protein snacks work in a pinch but Whole Foods will always be better if you can get your hands on them.

Lucky for me came in clutch with the steak frites. This isn’t an ad but it is an appreciation post.

Eat Whole Foods when you can and snap into a protein snacks when you can’t.

You’re gonna get older anyway, you might as well enjoy the ride.

With a bit of effort you’ll still be able to do the things you love. You don’t have to take up bridge and bust out the colorful visor.

If it meant a lot to you when you were younger it’s worth putting in the effort to maintain the ability to do it.

It’s still good I promise.
