I think I need to host something monthly. Stephanie,Lugo and Carlos lit my fire again. The thing is I don't think you guys are in High School anymore. So, if I do events, like Royal, Jenals and Alcatrazz, I need to know who to invite. If its not too much trouble, message me, tell me what club you went to, and I'll start a guest list. Anyway, I'm back in Mexico, and its pretty hot here. Who knew?

Yesterday, Latinos In Da House had it's very first event that went really well, minus one HUGE mistake. They gave me a microphone! They gave us all one, and unbelievably, and perhaps a sign they should have heeded, mine didn't work. Smart, right? Well, poor Jessie DeLaPena got stuck next to me, and I stole his. I was on a panel with Frank Torres, Carlos Valderrama, Angie Pena, Pablo Gonzalez, and Jessie . Those people are all TALENTED and smart. I bet if we averaged the I.Qs of this group, the average would be 134.28671. Their 140 each and my faaaaabulous 100! We had one hour. Again, they gave me a microphone! WHY? It's 9am, and I have no voice. Why you ask ? You know why. I'm a one man talk show. I'm pretty sure they asked me 2 questions. I'm also sure I gave 73 answers. 60 minutes should be 10 minutes each. I must have talked 30 minutes. I have no voice, and no idea what I was talking about. But boywas it fun!!! Thanks so much to Dj Lugo Rosado, Carlos Valderrama and Stephanie Chach. Wonderful wonderul people. Give me a microphone. Ya big Dummies! Hope they invite me next year!

September 7, what a memorable day of highs asnd lows. Facebook showed me memories today. A year ago, I had an Alcatrazz reunion that was great. 2 years ago, I landed in Mazatlan, Mexico. That was great too. 5 years ago, today, I was on a cruise that took us to Monaco. That was gtreat. 3 out of 3 for this date in my life. 10 years ago, I was on another cruise, day was almost great. Till we pulled into a port, and I called home and asked my son how was Pops doing? I think I woke him up. He responded with, "What do you mean? " When someone is asleep and just wakes up, he doesn't realize whats going on. "What do you mean hows he doing? He's still dead. " That how I found out September 7 has incredible highs and lows for me. R.I.P Pops. R.I.P.

I MIGHT be getting a little older. yesterday, I was getting ready to go see some buddies for dinner. I thought to myself, I bet it's going to be airconditioned where we are going. I better take a sweater. (First indication I'm old) Not wanting to forget it, I put it in the van. . 2 hours later, as I was parking the CAR, ( Indication #2)not the van , it occured to me, "Huh. Where is my sweater?" Then I spent the next 15 minutes tearing the car apart, swearing at myself (In Spanish now, impressive, right?) and not remembering for another half hour. Lordy, help me!

Heading back to Chicago in the morning. Leaving Playa, home of a beautiful beach, delicious tacos, lively music, tons and tons of Sun, and 90 degree weather. So, why you ask, am I wearing sweat pants and my heavy heavy Blackhawks sweater? Why am I wearing more protection than I ever wore as a bachelor? Because I just came back from WAR! No, I'm not at the border fighting a Cartel. But it certainly was as dangerous. Yes, it was, yes it was!!! In my back yard, I found the biggest tatantula I've ever seen trying to get into my apartment. So, loaded with Raid, a giant garbage can and heavy clothing, After a pitched battle of many many seconds, (Maybe 40!) I dispatched the Dragon! I mean Tarantula! Time to get back to the safety of Chicago and its lovely inhabitants.

Still in Mexico for 3 more days. My phone has been very silent. Very. Well, actually, it rings a lot, but it doesn't allow me to anser it. Did you know you shoud never be on the phone when you're in a swimming pool???? Also, that you can slip and drop your phone? And now I have to phone shop in Mexico 3 days before I leave. My life is so tragic, sigh. Of course, today is one of my ex's birthdays, thank you Victor for reminding me. Now I have to find a therapist as well. Shop, shop ,shop. I'm in Mexico!

Its happened. I don't feel safe here in Mexico anymore, yes. I was stalked, and they found me!!!! Actually, not they, him. I cam here to walk and lose weight, and swim in the pool. And that is where I was found. The TAMALE Guy found me. I was in the pool and as I looked up, there he was, like an ngel, all aglow, jumpinh up and down, waving at me. Of course I bought 4 right away. Never gonna get skinny ever again. Sigh.
