We’re in an active legal situation with our landlord regarding toxic mold in our home, and have to leave immediately for our health and safety. I’ve been to the ER twice, and two nights ago my husband went to the ER as well. Given the sudden nature of our imminent move, we cannot reasonably account for the chickens or those logistics, especially considering I’m still in anaphylaxis. This is incredibly emotionally difficult, so I’m asking folks to please use discernment with regard to messaging me about this— really don’t want to talk about it, as we’re in a mountain of sad, heavy and very hard limitations at the moment. So, please ONLY reach out if you want the chickens and their coup, can pick them up and transport them yourselves, and live on the Austin area.

We just found this sweet girl on a walk- she was really hot and really thirsty, and I couldn’t find the owner so we brought her into our garage. Because we did that, the city of Austin is now saying we must take care of her for THREE Days- we can’t do this, as we can’t let her in our house- we have a 120 German Shepherd and I don’t think she’ll be safe. Our garage doesn’t have AC. Someone somewhere with animal rescue resources please reach out to me ASAP- shes obviously someone’s pet, and has a red harness on. She’s sweet and, aside from being VERY hungry and thirsty and hot, she’s in good condition. Please comment and/or DM if you can help us help this sweet little girl.

Fresh peas and little nugget Parisian “thumb” carrots, fresh from the garden.

To those inquiring about what I’m up to or where I’ve been while not onscreen on IG, here’s the answer: I’m really busy working with actual, living human clients, making and selling flower essences, working in the garden, and walking the dog.

You know. Life stuff.

Remember: social media isn’t a real place. And, if something is free, YOU are the product.

The energy (and the Woo) are off the chain lately. The high strangeness is largely evading capture or constriction in language, let alone pithy, performative posts on IG.

So, go live life. Get some veggies from the garden. Read a book. Go for a walk. Hang out with a friend over dinner.

And stop bothering people as though their absence from social media infers their untimely death or something.

It’s the opposite. We’re not dead when you can’t see us on here. Rather, we’re alive. We’re just out here living— and not “existing” inside of these strange digital rectangles of doom and anxiety we carry with us everywhere.

The smartphone is the realm of the Hungry Ghost.

Don’t get eaten. Don’t eat others. Mind the gap.
