During National Activity Professionals Week, we are proud to highlight Diana Vazquez as we celebrate her 13-year anniversary at Warren Park Health and Living Center! 🎉

As our Activities Director, Diana plays an important role in creating engaging and enriching experiences for our community. Her creativity, compassion, and dedication help residents feel connected, supported, and valued each day.

Her advice for anyone starting a career in healthcare activities:
"You have to have thick skin and compassion. Residents become like family, and everyone has a story. I always say, don’t do it for the income. Do it for the outcome!"

One of Diana’s proudest accomplishments is guiding her team through the challenges of COVID-19. Coming together, supporting one another, and moving forward as a team during that time remains one of the most meaningful experiences of her career.

One of her favorite parts of the job is seeing the lasting impact she has on people’s lives. Many residents and families stay in touch over the years, reaching out for encouragement and support, which reminds her how meaningful those connections truly are.

If she had to describe her journey here in one phrase, it would be “life-changing.” She finds purpose in helping others succeed, building strong relationships, and making a difference that extends far beyond the day to day.

As our C.N.A. Supervisor at Warren Park Health & Living Center, Sotanya has dedicated 19 years to supporting both staff and residents.

Her biggest inspiration is her mother, Linda, and that guidance shows in the care and leadership she brings to her role every day.

Outside of work, Sotanya practices meditation and prayer, and she enjoys spending time with her family.

Selena has been with Citadel for just over a year as a Laundry Aide, bringing care and commitment to everything she does. Her biggest inspiration is her mom, and that shows in the effort she puts into her work each day.

Outside of work, Selena enjoys painting and drawing, and she keeps a healthy balance in her life through thoughtful scheduling, exercise, and a nutritious diet.
