Bleu Lotus Yoga & Retreats Lynda Schoberth is an Experienced Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500), having studied and taught Samapatti yoga since 2009. and Thursdays at 9:00 a.m.

Samapatti is an approach that adapts yoga practice to the unique conditions, needs and interests of each individual. For many years, she and her team of talented instructors at Bleu Lotus in Chesterton offered a variety of classes to the community. She closed the studio in 2020 to focus on offering retreats. She teaches two weekly classes at East Wind Yoga Studios - Mondays Hatha at 5:30 p.m. Lynd

a teaches deep from within her heart and brings a focus on guiding her students to a higher level of mind-body awareness, physical well-being and inner joy. Her playful demeanor and big smile give her students an immediate relaxed vibe each time they come to her class. Most often, students leave her class with experiencing new postures and new knowledge relating to health, mindfulness and meditation.

There are many forms of meditation. My all-time favorite is Metta, or Loving Kindness. It focuses on nurturing our inner strength, kindness and goodness. Practicing it daily or weekly makes you feel more connected to yourself and your surroundings from the inside out.

Our Story

Welcome to my “story”. So glad you stopped by! After five terrific years, I took a break from owning and operating a yoga studio. In some ways, you could say I'm embracing the impermanence of daily life. As the Buddha said, impermanence is the nature of the human condition. This is a truth we know in our minds but tend to resist in our hearts. Change happens all around us, all the time, yet we long for the predictable, the consistent.

Today, Bleu Lotus is evolving in so many great ways. I am excited to offer you an opportunity to join me and the talented team of leaders from Peace Through Yoga on a magical journey to Costa Rica on February 22nd to 29th, 2020, where yoga, adventure and a deeper connection within await you. I believe that travel is the most powerful catalyst for change and transformation, especially when its curated with intention and authenticity!
