She would play for hours in her mom’s jewelry box with her sisters, wire beads by teaching herself to create something unique with her father’s medical kit and brother’s tools. These were just a few examples that tipped off her passion for jewelry making. In high school, she excelled in subjects that allowed for creativity, such as jewelry soldering and eventually sold her own pieces in New York. With a degree in Advertising and working at Leo Burnett, she realized her minor in Fashion Merchandising is where she belonged. Gaining experiences at Tiffany & Co and high end boutiques in Chicago’s charming neighborhoods such as Old Town and the artistic fashion district of Bucktown. After being promoted to a manager/buyer, various events sparked local press for fashion/trunk shows, charity auctions, photo shoots and style interviews featured in: Chicago Magazine, Chicago Style, Daily Herald, Glancer, The Chicago Tribune and Naperville Sun. DD & BELLS team members are Tim, Jessie, Dylan and Bella. Inspired and named after their kids nicknames, D&B started in 2009. Based in both Chicago and San Francisco (ArtSpan), the line embraces her boho luxe chic lifestyle and carries a few of each style, so you can truly embrace one-of-a-kind handmade jewelry in your wardrobe. Designs are made of semi-precious gemstones adorned with sterling silver & 14k gold finishes, personalized initial charms, signature fireballs and Swarovski crystal. Local bloggers and celebrities include Giada DeLaurentiis, Giuliana Rancic and Pandora Vanderpump.
