A lot of people turn to yoga for a cure. They may have heard yoga was good for stress, anxiety, joint or lower back pain. And while that may all be true, asana (posture) is only one limb of The Eight Limbed Path. When a person focuses only on asana, they are not aware of the other places for growth. For example, two of my other favorite limbs are Yama’s (moral restraints) & Niyama’s ( how you conduct yourself on a more personal level). Through these limbs I’m able to explore things like Svadhyaya ( Self Study) which syncs effortlessly with asana practice. Welcome to The Flow Up, having yoga on and off the mat, one flow at a time.
