Chicago Cannabis Company was started on Chicago’s south side in 2018 as a small business by three original founders. Since that day, our goal has been to produce high-quality, crafted cannabis products as well as strive to establish our company as a source of credible cannabis education. Another driver in this company is to work collaboratively with other local small business owners, co-operatives, and farmers. Our goal is to become a local leader and a go-to resource for industrial h**p cultivation, extraction, and distribution.
Did you know? The H**p Farming Act of 2018 (now included in the 2018 Farm Bill), will legalize h**p at the federal level, effectively excluding industrial cannabis from the list of Controlled Substances. With the signing of the Illinois h**p bill, there are opportunities around the cultivation, distribution, and processing of h**p - a cannabis variety with close to zero THC, or the intoxicating compound found in cannabis plants.
The h**p industry is expected to grow into a multi-billion dollar industry over the next two years.
