Born in Detroit, Mi, coming from humble beginnings, she has proven to inspire both family and friends as well as colleagues alike. A mother first, Kathleen has put much effort into following the dreams of her heart all the while making sure to provide a safe and comfortable home in Oak Park, Illinois for her two deserving children. In 2008, Kathleen acquired her associates degree in graphic design from the Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago. A natural healer, her most recent certification is in the field of massage therapy. With a background in sales and marketing, promotions, preschool education as well as service as a breast-feeding peer counselor in the well-respected AmeriCorps program, Kathleen never ceases to amaze with her ingenuity and resourcefulness. She has currently been cast as a supporting role on the up and coming international web series Clash Of The Vampires. An undeniably true experimental artist since birth, Kathleen has seized the past year to share her hidden talents as an artist with the rest of the world through her company, CourageSoul Inc. The quality and depth to her paintings, drawings and digital art are beyond measure and have proven to move people of all ages and all walks of life. Kathleen's work has been showcased in various venues around Chicago and is currently on display at four different galleries including the world renownd Zhou B. and the Simply Wicked Art family, performing live paintings across the country and having commissioned work over seas, Kathleen is quickly making a name for herself around Chicago and internationally. The socially conscious tone to many of her pieces compliment her desire to open her viewers minds and hearts to the issues she passionately takes to heart while striving to make positive changes.
