Hi. We are all under so much stress right now. Covid, Hurricane, increased crime. We all need to think of ways to relax and find joy and happiness even if it's just in small amounts.
I'm a therapist located in the LakeView area of Chicago, but currently only doing Telehealth for everyone's safety. I'm on most insurance panels and I work various hours including evenings and weekends

I work a lot with Eating Disorders and Body Dysmorphic Disorder as well as other issues such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss and relationship issues.

Some thoughts as we enter the holiday season...It is important to remember that not everyone is surrounded by large wonderful families. Some of us have problems during the holidays and some of us are overcome with great sadness when we remember the loved ones who are not with us. And many people have no one to spend these times with and are besieged by loneliness. We all need caring, loving thoughts right now. If I don't see your name I will understand. May I ask my friends, wherever you might be, to kindly copy, paste and post this status for one hour to give a moment of support for all those who have family problems, health struggles, job issues, worries of any kind and just need to know someone cares. Do it for all of us, for nobody is immune. I hope to see this on the walls of all my friends just for moral support. I know someone will! I did it for a friend and you can too!! I am a Psychotherapist with offices in the
LakeView area of Chicago and Northbrook. I work with adolescents and adults and am especially interested in helping people with Eating Disorders, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Grief and Loss and depression and anxiety.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and
Psychodynamic Theory to help people. I am warm and interactive and give lots of feedback and offer new ways of looking at things. I'm available evenings and weekends.
