Join the 25th District Council for a free Community Health Fair on Thursday, May 21 from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Lafollette Park!

Community members will have access to free blood pressure checks, health and wellness resources, information on chronic health conditions, Narcan, STI prevention, mental health resources, health insurance assistance, smoke detectors, fentanyl test strips, gun locks, and more. There will also be activities for families, including a bouncy house!

Join Sinai Infectious Disease Center in observing National HIV Vaccine Awareness Day (May 18).

Today, we honor the scientists, healthcare professionals, community advocates, and volunteers dedicated to advancing research toward a safe and effective HIV vaccine.

While there is currently no approved HIV vaccine, ongoing research plays a critical role in prevention and brings us closer to ending the HIV epidemic. Raising awareness and supporting these efforts matters now more than ever.

Sinai Chicago joined the 6th Annual Mother's Day Celebration hosted by State Senator Lakesia Collins at the Douglass Park Field House on Saturday, May 9th. It was an exciting afternoon with music, entertainment, children's games, and wonderful weather. Sinai provided blood pressure screenings and information about our programs and services. Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias, and other elected officials participated in the celebration.
