Hospice care is not just for the very end of life. Itโ€™s about comfort, quality time, and support for your whole family.
Understanding hospice earlier allows patients and loved ones to benefit from symptom management, emotional and spiritual support, and guidance at home in the months leading up to lifeโ€™s final stage, not just the last days.

Coping with Cancer During the Holidays

The holiday season can be challenging for those affected by cancer. Whether you're in treatment or supporting a loved one, it's important to take care of yourself during this time. Here are a few tips to help:

1. Set realistic expectations. Focus on what matters most and let go of the pressure to do everything.
2. Communicate your needs. Let others know how you're feeling and what kind of support would be helpful.
3. Make time for rest. Prioritize quiet moments to recharge physically and emotionally.

For more tips and resources, visit the Cancer Center Library at Enloe Health. You can browse in person or search our online catalog at www.enloe.org/library. To arrange a pickup, call 530-332-3856.
