OLD BONES Fitness Studio is not a gym. It is just what it says it is, a studio with me William Molebash. Together we will work on strength,stability and flexibility. If you are a senior and have no ambition toward exercise you need to come see me. If you are a senior with heart stints, arthritis, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, joint replacements or weight problems then you should come and see me. We can do this aging thing together and we can have some fun doing it. OLD BONES is here for you…….. Don't be a stranger (as my grandma used to say). :) :) :)

Happy Saturday gang! I woke up at 5am this morning and been sitting in the quiet reflecting on life but primarily on myself. The past three years for me have been pretty much serving and trying to help my best friend through an unfortunate, emotional time that eventually took her life. Although my circumstance was dire and forced upon me it made me realize how much our lives change as we get older. We do shift into being a servant for others and tend to forget about our own needs mentally, physically, and spiritually. I am not suggesting that we quit serving others because you are being a blessing to others when you serve and that is what we are supposed to do. I am just saying that you need to take a little time every day to exercise, meditate and breathe. I have begun to do this again instead of just going through the motions and my overall wellbeing is improving immensely. I have started walking again after a friend said let’s go for a walk and it was like the blind went up and I realized all over again that this is what I am supposed to do. Take the walk, ride the bike, be in the wind and live. I know it’s hard to think of yourself sometimes because I have been there but you and your health are important to your family and friends. You too can get back in the groove with just 30 minutes of functional exercise and 10 minutes of daily reflection. You are worth it…….prioritize yourself and have a blessed weekend.😊

I don’t know how many of you are like me but my head has been really scrambled as of late. Monday mornings are really anxious for me because I look at the schedule for the week ahead and think that there is no way I am going to get all this done. Somehow I always manage and I feel good at the end of the week. I guess the best way to look at things is one day at a time, not the whole week at once. That same attitude can be applied to our exercise routine. Let’s just go at it one day at a time. One day at a time for 30 minutes a day. We got this! I can tell you this …. It’s the exercise that clears my mind and prepares my body to get my to-do list done. Get excited gang, Chair Circuit #5 is loaded and ready to go ….
