Beauty supplement: Gan Mai Da Zao Tang
美容方劑：甘麥大棗湯

Gan Mai Da Zao Tang (GMDZ) ：
is a well-known product in Chinese traditional medicine and includes three major herbs: blighted wheat (Fu Xiao Mai), licorice (Gan Cao), and red dates (Da Zao). GMDZ is widely used as an efficacious and well-tolerated prescription for depression in clinics.

Gan Mai Da Zao Tang is used in cases of “Zang Zao”, or what the Chinese call “Restless Organ Syndrome”. This state of agitation is associated with frequent crying and mood swings, poor sleep, irritating bodily sensations, fatigue and feeling emotionally low.

Each herb in the formula serves a unique role. Blighted Wheat (Fu Xiao Mai) calm the spirit and anchor the mind. Licorice (Gan Cao) gently boosts energy by helping the digestive system. And those beautiful Red Dates (Da Zao)? They soothe rattled nerves and moisten dryness.

1.Efficacy of blighted wheat (Fu Xiao Mai) :
Sweet, cool, belongs to the heart meridian. Nourish the heart, replenish qi, remove heat, and reduce sweat.

2.Efficacy of licorice (Gan Cao) :
Sweet, flat, belongs to the heart, lungs, spleen, and stomach meridians. It supplements qi, clearing away heat and detoxifying, eliminating phlegm and relieving cough, relieving pain and relieving pain.

3.Efficacy of red dates (Da Zao) :
Sweet, warm, belongs to the spleen and stomach meridian. It nourishes the skin, nourishes the liver and blood, regulates the spleen and stomach, helps with sleep, and increases immune resistance.

The criteria of a Normal Tongue should be moist, glossy, smooth, pink, and will typically be flat. The first step of patient assessment would be to examine the tongue's shape. Additionally, we can observe the movement of the tongue while it is being extended.

If the movement is strong and flexible, it indicates strength, while shortening and softness suggest weakness. A thick, protruding, and rigid tongue may indicate excess, whereas a thin, tender, and concave one may signal deficiency. Deviations such as tilting, tooth marks, wrinkles, or cracks can indicate underlying health issues. These deviations reflect conditions within the internal organs, energy flow, and meridian tissues, akin to traffic congestion manifesting on the tongue and other areas of examination.

The Doll Physiognomy method is a system where each facial feature corresponds to a different part of your body. The forehead mirrors the head, eyebrows represent the arms, and the area from the center of the brow and to the mouth represents the torso. Wrinkles around your the nasolabial corresponds to the legs.
