Ni**le soreness is common during the first week or two postpartum. But if pain persists into week 3 or beyond, there may be latch issues. Contact a Lactation specialist for an evaluation. Breastfeeding should not be painful! Photo cc: morethanmilknz

Oral motor therapy increases strength & coordination of the tongue, lips, jaw, & cheeks. All are important and necessary for successful breastfeeding & bottle-feeding.
