Back to school we go! Brooklyn, 6th grade with Mrs Crawford. Dane, 4th grade with Mrs. Walker. Going on 8 years in education, 3rd as high school English teacher, for me! Feeling thankful to be part of a great school system and community.

Another track and field season behind us, with its memories stored: the laughs, the tears, the struggles, the triumphs, the bittersweet ending. It’s always hard to say “goodbye” to our seniors as they head towards their next life chapter and I will treasure each one of them, while at the same time I’m excited to see what next year’s team will be able to achieve and accomplish. Thanks for a great season, Bulldogs!

The kids missed their last day of school to cheer on all of their favorite Bulldogs at the State Track Meet today. On to 4th and 6th grade they go. We are so thankful for their teachers and coaches this year. What an impact they all made and, as a parent, I will forever be grateful.

Proud of our little RBG and her speech at the wax museum. It was also a great joy to see her incredible classmates give their speeches and watch the power of education in action. Many thanks to her amazing teachers and supporters at school. We are thankful for and proud to be a part of Choteau Schools.

Days like today not only reinforce my decision to become a teacher but also my positive outlook on the future. These seniors have been hard at work this semester in speech class, most recently memorizing, reciting, writing, and performing poetry. As a culmination to this unit, they each wrote an original poem to perform at our local Copper Creek Coffee Shop. I sat there in pure joy listening to their unique thoughts, experiences, and opinions brought to life through beautiful awe inspiring words. What a special day to be treasured for years to come. I’m definitely going to miss this crew!! ❤️ Thank you to Principal Wendi Hammond for appreciating and supporting learning experiences like this and to Brian Colesworthy and his crew at Copper Creek for being so awesome! They had our drinks ready to go for us as soon as we arrived and gave us a wonderful environment to share this experience in.
