St. Bernard-Elmwood Place senior defensive end/edge rusher James Hall has a nation-leading 25 sacks as the Titans prepare for the postseason.

Kyle Hogan, St. Bernard-Elmwood Place football coach, said Hall has an "incredible story" and also maintains straight A's while working a full-time job.

"He is the ideal player to coach. He’s what you look for in a kid when building a program," Hogan said.

The truly final updated 2025 St. Bernard German Luau Schedule. Only some minor adjustments. The weather is looking fabulous so no excuses for missing the event of the year. Hope to see you all this weekend!

Hi Stingrays!
A few (okay, a lot) of reminders for this week:

1. Our team party is this Thursday, 7/31. The last day to send money for the Coaches’ gifts is TODAY, 7/27.

2. The German Luau Parade is this Saturday, August 2nd. We will meet at Ross Park at 12 pm. The parade will start promptly at 12:30 pm.

The theme for the parade is Luau. Wear your Stingray gear, grass skirts, leis (we will have leis if you need one), and anything that shows you are headed to a luau! Bubble machines are welcome!

Please bring your own bag of wrapped candy to toss out to the crowd. Avoid anything chocolate.

If parents could walk the parade route with us (especially parents of the 10 and younger age group) we would really appreciate it.

Please make arrangements to pick your child up at Ross Park once WE are finished walking in the parade (*please note: we may be finished walking before the parade is over with, depending on where we are in the parade line).

We are still looking for a family with a pickup truck to decorate their truck and drive in the parade. Contact Tiffany Messer if interested.

If 1 or 2 families with coolers and wagons could bring them, we would appreciate it. Last year it was really hot waiting for the parade to start and during the parade so we would like to have plenty of water.

SBEP is hosting an open house for our students and their families on August 12! The elementary school will be open from 3:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., and the jr./sr. high school will be open from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. All grade levels are welcome. Hope to see you there!
