Just over a year ago we stepped out in faith and began renting office space. We have been so blessed and continue to grow! And we’re moving on up!! To the third floor! New office space opens next month, with elevator access (for all those strollers!) and more room for all those beloved baby pics.
Can’t wait to see you over there!

In the meantime, we are looking for a few things to make our office feel like home 🏡
Changing table
Coffee cart/credenza
Couch for the waiting room
Toys (wipeable)
Storage cabinet
Bookshelves
And maybe a coffee table, side tables and lamps.

As most of you know, we are a nonprofit offering ministry through birth-related services. Our “Song of Shifrah” sub-ministry is caring for families who might not otherwise be able to access in-home birth care due to lack of coverage by insurance and cost sharing programs, extenuating personal circumstances (i.e. coming out of trafficking),or because of financial difficulties.

Most moms we help have had significant birth trauma, and in-home care is essential for her and her baby’s optimal health.
We have begun a Birth Scholarship fund to help relieve some of the pressure for these families.

Here is an easy and fun way to participate in caring for these mom’s with us. A Pampered Chef Party! Mike and I used to host these when we were in the early years of our marriage, and purchased may of their products. Some lasted 30 years!
And when I recently replaced them, Julie, my friend’s consultant, offered to do a fundraiser for us! Ahavat Abba will receive a percentage of sales (hopefully 10% if we reach a dollar amount goal) to contribute directly to the costs for these moms’ birth supplies, and things like gas for the midwife and attendant to get there to catch that baby!

We start the Party next week! But while you wait for it to begin, here’s a link to start your wishlist!

We currently have two families in need of a scholarship for birth services, to help cover their supply expenses.
We are passionate about serving those who need birth services in their homes, especially due to past medical or sexual trauma.
