As most of you know, we are a nonprofit offering ministry through birth-related services. Our “Song of Shifrah” sub-ministry is caring for families who might not otherwise be able to access in-home birth care due to lack of coverage by insurance and cost sharing programs, extenuating personal circumstances (i.e. coming out of trafficking),or because of financial difficulties.

Most moms we help have had significant birth trauma, and in-home care is essential for her and her baby’s optimal health.
We have begun a Birth Scholarship fund to help relieve some of the pressure for these families.

Here is an easy and fun way to participate in caring for these mom’s with us. A Pampered Chef Party! Mike and I used to host these when we were in the early years of our marriage, and purchased may of their products. Some lasted 30 years!
And when I recently replaced them, Julie, my friend’s consultant, offered to do a fundraiser for us! Ahavat Abba will receive a percentage of sales (hopefully 10% if we reach a dollar amount goal) to contribute directly to the costs for these moms’ birth supplies, and things like gas for the midwife and attendant to get there to catch that baby!

We currently have two families in need of a scholarship for birth services, to help cover their supply expenses.
We are passionate about serving those who need birth services in their homes, especially due to past medical or sexual trauma.

The babies are hungry and the feeding center has barely been able to open. I’ve heard them cry on the days they didn’t get to eat. It’s a huge passion of mine to see the feeding center open every day. It only takes about $75/day to feed the whole crew of students in need.

THANK YOU so much to those of you who have donated to help our mama escape her dangerous situation. She got out last night with the clothes on her back, a special toy and a pet. She still has many obstacles in front of her, so if you are feeling led to contribute, she still has a great deal of need. Her vehicle is very old and in dire need of repair or replacement, and she will need to find a new place to live and furnish it.
100% of your donations are going to her unless there was a small PP, square or bank fee. Nothing is retained “in house.”
It is a HUGE blessing to see the body of Messiah at work!!!
