"We started trying to grow our family during the summer of 2023. After months of trying on our own, my OBGYN started me on fertility medication. We tried multiple cycles of two different medications, but nothing seemed to work. That’s when we decided to seek help from fertility experts at the Institute for Reproductive Health in Cincinnati.

I often struggled with not ovulating regularly. We both went through a lot of testing and nothing else significant was found….Our doctor called it unexplained infertility. He also said that I had signs of PCOS. After months of more medications and shots, the PCOS improved, and I was finally able to start ovulating on my own, but we still weren’t getting pregnant. We did four rounds of IUI and still no luck. Our next step was IVF.
In March of 2025, I had my egg retrieval procedure. They were able to retrieve 7 of my eggs. After the fertilization process, we had 3 growing embryos. That same week after my egg retrieval, we did a fresh embryo transfer, which resulted in a chemical pregnancy.

In June 2025, we decided to use our 2nd embryo and did a frozen embryo transfer. Two weeks later we had an amazingly high HCG level. At 6.5 weeks we had an ultrasound where we got to hear and see the heartbeat for the first time!!! That was the most magical moment!

In March 2026, we finally had our miracle in our arms. We can’t thank IRH enough for making our dreams come true. They were so helpful and thorough throughout the entire process. Without them, we wouldn’t be holding our baby today."

"My husband and I started trying to grow our family in 2022. Shortly after trying, we became pregnant. Unfortunately, this ended in a chemical pregnancy. We kept trying and a few months later I was pregnant again. This ended in another chemical pregnancy. Fast forward a few more months, I was pregnant again, but this ended in a miscarriage and D&C. We decided it was time to figure out what was happening. Through testing we found out I have a balanced translocation. We were told our best shot at having a viable pregnancy would be through IVF and genetic testing of embryos. We began the process at IRH in February of 2024 and by October 2024 we had our first FET. We were absolutely ecstatic when we found out it worked. We had our sweet rainbow baby in June of 2025. Our experience with IRH was amazing. We felt so cared for the whole time. I will never be able to thank IRH enough for bringing us our baby boy Hendrix."

"I was diagnosed as a teenager with endometriosis and knew that could impact my fertility. So we started trying to have a baby the month after our wedding, knowing we could possibly face some challenges. But to our surprise, we got pregnant two months later. Sadly, it ended in miscarriage. And again, we suffered another miscarriage two months after that. Over the next year and half, I tried multiple medications, another surgery for endometriosis, and eventually many IUIs with my GYN.
After our third miscarriage we knew we had to get more help. We were recommended to become patients at IRH. Dr. King made us feel so comfortable. She came up with the right plan for us, and we started our IVF journey! We were scared but hopeful.
After just one egg retrieval and one transfer, we now have our miracle baby! We believe God’s plan for growing our family included IRH all along. We are so grateful for the whole team and their role in our journey to bringing home our son!"
