BLOC Ministries is a faith-based nonprofit rooted in community and relationship. We serve in Cincinnati, Louisville, and Knoxville.

We believe in hope, live where we serve, build one-to-one connections, and point everything back to Christ in us. At the heart of BLOC Ministries is encouraging broken people. We work one-to-one with urban students, adults and families to break negative cycles in their lives – poverty, addiction, crime, violence, homelessness, sex trafficking, abuse, joblessness, insufficient life skills and/or hopelessness. BLOC stands for 'Believing (and) Living One Christ" - we are hope-builders and change-bringers through Christ.

The chickens are working overtime at Farm to Table 🐓🥚

Every single day, they’re laying fresh eggs—providing nutritious food for our community and giving our students a hands-on look at what it means to care for something and see the reward from it.

It’s a daily reminder that consistency matters. The small, faithful routines—showing up, caring well, doing the work—lead to real fruit. Just like in our faith, what we nurture grows.

From the coop to the table, we’re learning responsibility, stewardship, and the beauty of God’s provision in the everyday. 🤍🌿

For God so loves Price Hill. 🤍

Not just the places—but the people. The families, the kids, the stories, the streets. Every corner filled with purpose, every life deeply seen and known by Him.

We get to be a small part of that love in action—showing up, serving, building relationships, and reminding our community that they are not forgotten.

Because this is more than a neighborhood… it’s a place God loves. And so do we. 🌆

Sunday changed everything.

The stone was rolled away.
Death was defeated.
Hope came rushing in.

Because He lives, we have new life, new purpose, and a living hope that never fades.
This is the story we carry into our neighborhoods—hope in the middle of brokenness, light that cannot be overcome.

He is risen. ✝️

Our IDEA After School Program is growing fast—we had 60 kids join us last week!

More kids. More energy. More opportunities to build relationships, create safe spaces, and speak hope into young lives.
What’s happening here is bigger than numbers—it’s community, it’s impact, it’s transformation. And we’re just getting started.

As the flowers begin to rise, so does hope in our community. New life, new growth, and new opportunities are all around us—and we’re reminded that even in broken places, beauty can still bloom.

Before Tiffany came to Redeemed, she described her life in one word: lost.

Consumed by addiction, battling her own mind, and coming out of over a year in jail—everything felt broken. But in one of her darkest seasons, God planted a seed of hope through someone who had been where she was… and found freedom.

When Tiffany arrived at Redeemed, she was still fighting fear, paranoia, and the weight of her past. But in a quiet moment, everything began to shift.

“Take every thought captive. One at a time.”
That was the beginning of healing.
For the first time in years, she felt safe. Loved. Seen.

Surrounded by women who didn’t just speak truth—but walked it out beside her.
And slowly… everything changed.
The lies unraveled.
The fear loosened.
The chains broke.

Today, Tiffany is free and redeemed.
She’s held a steady job for over a year, stepping into leadership, preparing for marriage—and still showing up each week to pour back into the same home that changed her life.

Because this story isn’t just about freedom.
It’s about legacy.

Our Story

The heart of BLOC Ministries centers on building relationships with our neighbors and sharing hope in brokenness. We work one-to-one with children & students, women, men, and families to break negative cycles in their lives – poverty, addiction, crime, violence, homelessness, s*x trafficking, abuse, school failure, joblessness, insufficient life skills and hopelessness. BLOC stands for 'Believing (and) Living One Christ" - we are hope-builders and change-bringers through Christ.

We take great pride in sharing that “We Are A Movement, Not An Institution” and we are recognized as a renowned organization in that all of our programs’ staff and leaders live where we serve. That’s right! We live, work and play in the very same neighborhoods where we serve our neighbors through programs and services that impact community and change lives. BLOC Ministries owns over 35 properties, many of which are free housing for our staff who lead these important street, faith and community programs.

We are not a community center. We are a “center of community”. We have 5 distinct and unique social enterprise urban businesses known as BLOC Industries where the very men, women and young adults we serve learn important job skills and get onsite training and employment through our Woodshop, Screen Print T-Shirt Shop, 2 BLOC Coffee Company shops (Price Hill & City Hall), Cincinnati Type & Print Museum/Redeemed Letterpress and the infamous Teaching Kitchen and Catering business. These industries both train our neighbors for their next job or career opportunity while making high-quality local products that are sold for use--serving as a source of stable sustainability for our own BLOC Ministries’ programs and services. We believe in being innovative and creative in how we build our funds and share our success with our donors!

Our mentoring one-to-one approach builds life-long relationship with individuals and offers no one-step, 8-week program where staff leave every day at 5 p.m. We are in the trenches for the long haul 24/7. This is our life. These are our neighbors. We do laundry, grocery shopping and babysitting for each other. We live, laugh, pray and cry in shared responsibility. We treat those we serve no less than we treat our own families. We strive to be Christ’s hope in brokenness. We are BLOC.
