BLOC Ministries BLOC Ministries is a faith-based nonprofit rooted in community and relationship. We serve in Cincinnati, Louisville, and Knoxville.

We believe in hope, live where we serve, build one-to-one connections, and point everything back to Christ in us. At the heart of BLOC Ministries is encouraging broken people. We work one-to-one with urban students, adults and families to break negative cycles in their lives – poverty, addiction, crime, violence, homelessness, sex trafficking, abuse, joblessness, insufficient life skills and/or ho

✨MEET THE TEAM: MEGHAN✨

I grew up and went to school for social work in Florida and knew that God had given me a passion for working with women in residential settings.

My best friend found BLOC on a Google search, we both interviewed separately for different programs, and then we moved here together to work for BLOC in December of 2022! I came on board as the Redeemed Home House Manager (handling day-to-day activities and appointments) and I am now the Program Director.

I get to manage all of the intakes, therapeutic services, skills classes, community partnerships, and staff and volunteers we have at Redeemed. God has given me my dream job and it's been the coolest story!

I'm recently very obsessed with Michael Jackson, the residents told me I should include that I "be dressin", and I spend my free time working out, cooking, tending to my plants, watching Survivor, going to MLB games, or visiting family in northeast Ohio and Florida.

✨Meet the Team: Raizza Rentas!!✨

Raizza Rentas serves as the Ola Immigrant Welcome Center Ministry Director at BLOC Ministries, where she helps create a welcoming and empowering space for immigrant families in Cincinnati. She oversees daily operations, supports the Ola team, strengthens community partnerships, and helps develop programs that meet real needs with care and dignity.

Raizza brings a unique mix of engineering, technology, and ministry experience to her role. Her systems-minded approach helps turn big vision into practical, sustainable pathways of support for families navigating life in a new country.

Her work is also deeply personal. As a Puerto Rican, a pastor’s wife, and a mother of three daughters, Raizza carries a deep love for faith, family, culture, and community. She is passionate about helping people feel seen, supported, and equipped to discover their God-given potential.

Fun facts about Raizza: she loves creating structure out of chaos, is raising three girls, and helps lead a growing ministry. In other words, she's relying on faith, spreadsheets, and grace.
