You may be wondering why we'd chose to put out our Giving Tuesday ask later in the week.
For one, we wanted to make sure it truly reached you (yes, those Black Friday deals were flooding our page just as much as they did yours).
But, most important, there’s a message within the message itself: Our mission goes beyond one date. The need for lifesaving care is just as urgent today as it is any day.
As we close out our 55-year milestone, there is so much beauty and impact to reflect on. But these five decades of services, providing thousands of individuals & families with accessible recovery & mental health services, have only been made possible because of supporters like you.
We’re committed to continuing to provide our accessible services to ALL who seek them, but with recent cuts to federal funding, things are tighter than ever.
However, just like when we went up against all the odds and opened the city’s first detox center 55 years ago, we’ve never turned away from a challenge… That’s why we’re humbly asking for your help once again.
Because we know that when we work together as a community to support our community, anything is possible. Your donation today shows us you know that, too.
