If you haven’t heard yet, we joined Cincinnati Children’s in April! The new name is Cincinnati Children’s Kenwood Crossing Primary Care. Dr. Camille Graham is still practicing and has not retired! We are at the same Kenwood location and no longer go to West Chester. We have the same phone number (513-948-8444) and the same fax number (513-948-0756). We won’t be posting new information here, but visit the Cincinnati Children’s website to find out about more improvements in care.

The practice has around 2,200 patients.

Change is coming!

On March 1st, both of our locations will join the Mercy Health network of primary care practices. Pediatrician Camille Graham MD and nurse practitioner Kathleen Clifton APRN, CNP, will stay as Mercy Health providers. Their support staff will be the same although there will be some new faces.

During this transition, the office will be closed for training from Friday morning, March 1st, until Tuesday morning, March 5th, and again all day on Wednesday, March 6th. We are still available for medical advice when the offices are closed.

We will expand office hours in April at both locations when we welcome Dr. Uche Onyewuchi, a pediatrician and adolescent medicine specialist currently practicing at the Mercy Health Liberty Falls office, to the West Chester location.

We joined Mercy Health because it is a system of care that puts the patient at the center. We plan to enhance care coordination for patients with special needs; to create a seamless transition of young adult and teen patients to adult providers; to provide better access to specialists, including behavioral and mental health providers; and to enable online scheduling of appointments through a MyChart patient portal.

Our phone number and fax number will remain the same. . . and so will our dedication to our patients.

Mercy Health is a Catholic health care ministry serving Ohio and Kentucky. With more than 34,000 employees in eight markets, we’re one of the largest health care systems in the country. At each one of our more than 600 points of care, we deliver high-quality, compassionate care with one united pur...

We encourage teens and young adults to REGISTER to VOTE. In Ohio, teens can register at 17 and vote as long as they are 18 on the day of or before the election. But they have to be “duly registered” for 30 days before the election and vote in their voting precinct. College students(and anyone else who thinks they won’t make it to their particular voting precinct on November 6th) should request absentee ballots. For details for each state, go here: https://www.usa.gov/voter-registration-age-requirements

We are happy to report that, in our practice, there is no disparity between African-American and White mothers in breastfeeding initiation rates and continuation of breastfeeding at one month, and African-American mothers in our practice have much higher breastfeeding rates than others in Hamilton County. However, there is still a long way to go to meet the goal of any breast feeding up to 12 months.

Talking about a mother's choices, without a broader conversation of how those choices are shaped by her circumstances, is simplistic ― and dangerous.
