Another update that came out today:

The Form I-693, signed by a civil surgeon on or after Nov. 1, 2023, is only valid while the APPLICATION the Form I-693 was submitted with is PENDING . If the application a Form I-693 was submitted with is withdrawn or denied, that Form I-693 is NO longer valid. This applies to applications pending or filed on or after June 11, 2025.

If a person submitted Form I-693 with their Form I-485, and withdrew their Form I-485 or if it was denied, if they submit a future Form I-485, they must submit a NEWLY completed Form I-693 signed by a civil surgeon.

Recent update about the form i-693 immigration medical exam:

If the civil surgeon signs your form on or before July 2, 2025, you must use either the 03/09/23 or the 01/20/25 edition.

Beginning July 3, 2025, USCIS will accept only the 01/20/25 edition.

Great news! An immigration medical exam signed on or after November 1,2023 does not expire!

“In consultation with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and based on advances in public health electronic notification since Nov. 1, 2023, USCIS has determined that a properly completed Form I-693 signed by a civil surgeon on or after Nov. 1, 2023, does not expire and can be used as evidence to show that the applicant is not inadmissible on health-related grounds indefinitely.”
