Job Description: Part-Time Cook
Blue Rock Senior Living – Cincinnati, OH
Expected Hours: 16–24 per week

About the Role
Blue Rock Senior Living is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Cook to help deliver delicious and nourishing meals while building strong, positive relationships with our residents and guests. You’ll be working alongside a dedicated Culinary and Dining Services team in a supportive and resident-focused environment.

Schedule & Perks
Work every other weekend
Sunday shift: 8 AM – 3 PM (every other week)
Enjoy a free meal during your shift!
Flexible scheduling available

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve high-quality, appetizing entrees tailored to residents’ preferences, following the Grooves Menu recipes
Ensure cleanliness and safety throughout the kitchen and dining areas
Uphold Blue Rock’s Core Values: Respect, Kindness & Compassion, Honesty, and Service Excellence
Deliver efficient meal service with excellent customer service
Maintain high standards for dining room and kitchen cleanliness

Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older
Previous nursing home or senior living culinary experience preferred
Willingness to learn and grow within the food service industry
Ability to work in a team-based, fast-paced environment
Skilled in buffet prep, made-to-order meals (e.g., eggs and omelets), and kitchen equipment
Knowledge of food sanitation and food safety guidelines
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
