We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in style with a full day of festive fun! Residents kicked off the morning in our Teaching Kitchen with Dietitian Madison Libengood, enjoying a green smoothie and citrus salad featuring our Superfood of the month: Citrus 🍊💚
Our new bistro area was decked out in green, serving up green donuts and a special kielbasa with mashed potatoes and Guinness gravy. Over in the Parkview Lounge, Health Pavilion residents enjoyed green eggs and ham, green punch, and fun snacks.
The celebrations continued with a themed dinner in our Independent Living Main Dining Room and Assisted Living Greeno Dining Room. Highlights included Corned Beef & Cabbage with potato pancakes, Shepherd’s Pie with roasted root vegetables, soda bread, and a sweet finish of mint fudge brownie with mint chip ice cream! 🍽️
Residents had a blast, and our community goose, Mrs. Mindy, joined in on the fun too! 🐦💚
