Wow! Ending the season with a huge win. Weiss Baking Company in Goshen was a change of pace in terms of Fish Fry Friday! A different setting, different style, but still some amazing food for the last Friday of Lent. The cod was impossibly crispy, the bang-bang shrimp were perfectly sweet and spicy, and the mac and cheese??? Indescribable. Lots of variety here, fun drink menu, plenty of fresh desserts, and parmesean crusted red potatoes that I would label "EXTREMELY crusted." So much food we brought an entire meal home. Absolutely 100% cannot wait to get back here to explore the brunch menu with friends.

Venturing out to the outskirts of Dayton to try out Ascension's fish fry! This was a one night only fish fry and was excellent! They loaded up the plate with fish and even threw in a baked fish as well! Not sure if the tartar sauce was homemade or not, but it was delicious! The sides were limited to fries and coleslaw. Otherwise overall worth a visit (next year at least). Grab a beer in line, peruse the raffle table, or grab a split the pot ticket when you visit!

We really lucked out on our week 3 pick! We came upon a Fish Fry in Mt. Carmel. Mt. Carmel Social Club doesn’t need our accolades. They have a very well run fish fry. The food was made to perfection! The Fried Cod was one if our favorites we've had. Perfectly crispy! The mac and cheese was delicious. And the hush puppies!!! Everyone in line was talking about them and they lived up to the hype! DELICIOUS! There was a wonderful selection of homemade desserts. Very fun and nice people in attendance, we had a nice time taking to the other people at our table. There was an interesting raffle of a large cooler filled with bottles of bourbon! All the volunteers were very nice and helpful.
My. Carmel Social Club is definitely a Fish Fry you will want to try!

Week 2 of the 2025 Fish Fry season took us to visit Nativity School in Pleasant Ridge. Right as you approach the line you are walking past the Fry Station and are greeted with the great smell of a good fish fry! The fish was lightly battered and perfectly seasoned. Each meal comes with 2 pieces of fish, 2 sides and coleslaw. The side choices were Mac & Cheese, Fries and Green Beans. The meal was good but you have to get to this Fish Fry early as they cut off the line when running low on fish.

Kicking off the 2025 Fish Fry season with a classic! St. Margaret of York Catholic Church (SMOY) consistently exceeds our expectations every season and we always look forward to our annual visit. This year we were given a behind the scenes tour from Kami Hampton Bachman, the Fish Boss. Kami was absolutely lovely and showed us where all the fun stuff happens- from prepping the coleslaw to the fry tent itself! This is where they were actually batter dipping the fish and straight into the fryers! So many cheerful volunteers in front and behind the scenes making this Fish Fry what it is: Consistent, Family Friendly, and SUPER Delicious!

We saved the VERY BEST for the end of Fish Fry season! St. Joseph Parish Camp Springs, Ky. fish fry is consistently great and ALWAYS our #1 pick. It is very well run with plenty of organized and friendly volunteers.
The choices of fish were plenty and consisted of fried cod, baked cod, fried catfish, fried shrimp and crab cakes. The catfish was served hot, perfectly battered and amazing! The sides were also very good. The dessert table had a wide variety of choices, homemade and beyond delicious!
For anyone who loves the seasonal fish fry’s, this is the one you don’t want to miss! A bonus, this time of year is a beautiful drive into their quaint, quiet community!

Stopped by St Gertrude’s in Madiera tonight to try a new old one. Portions were on the smaller side, but they had some interesting options like Nashville hot! A fun option, but we thought there could have been more sauce for it!

Overall great family friendly setting for a close knit community!@

This week we were joined by Q102 (WKRQ) Tim Timmerman, Jennifer Fritsch, Scott and Penelope.
We decided to go to Germania Society for this weeks Fish Fry. Kevin Luken, President of Germania Society, is the perfect host of the fish fry.
The fish is a generous portion of baked white fish. The sides are all made from scratch and consisted of mac and cheese, greens, french fries and cole slaw. The meal was also served with hush puppies and corn bread. If you like greens, these were delicious! A wide selection of beer was being served on tap.
Germania Society should be on everyone’s Fish Fry list to visit this year! 10 out of 10!

Today's fish fry takes us to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Milford OH on the Eastside!

This is an excellent fish fry that is well run and friendly atmosphere. We definitely recommend the potatoes! The line was well organized and moved along quickly. Lots of condiments available and a table with drinks such as sweet tea, water, and coffee.

The highlight here though is the dessert spread! It was tough to choose one but we went with the red velvet cake and a German chocolate cake cupcake.

Overall a great fish fry here with a laid back friendly atmosphere!
