Indiana's Bureau of Disabilities Services recently proposed waiver amendments which would take effect at the end of 2025. One of the proposed amendments puts a cap of 6 hours per month on Music Therapy.

At Keys for Success, we strive to build community, provide opportunities for connection and for developing skills and meeting goals through a variety of music therapy options including individual sessions, partner sessions, group sessions, community events, and concerts. We believe the proposed cap will limit opportunities and will limit choice and access to waiver services. We've compiled more information and resources here:

As you may have seen, there is a proposed waiver amendment which would limit music therapy funding under Indiana CIH & FSW waivers to 6 hours per month. This could affect the level of music therapy service that can be provided.
