No, it’s not the start of a bad joke—Honey Hill Farms brought their mobile petting zoo out to visit us yesterday!

Our residents had the absolute best time getting up close, feeding, and cuddling with all the animals.
A huge thank you to Honey Hill Farms for bringing so much joy, laughter, and a little bit of the farm right to our community!

Memorial Day gives us a moment to pause and reflect.

Many Artis residents lived through moments that shaped our country. Some served in the military. Others supported loved ones who did. Their experiences and perspectives bring history closer for all of us.

Today we honor those who gave their lives in service, and we’re grateful for the courage and sacrifice that helped protect the freedoms we share. 🇺🇸

Change of plans: Less yoga, way more cuddles!

We set out to host "Goat Yoga" at Artis Senior Living of Bridgetown, but our four-legged instructors had a completely different agenda. Instead of downward dogs, we got upward snuggles!

Honestly? We weren't even mad about it.

While the stretching didn't quite happen, the therapeutic power of animal cuddles was exactly what the doctor ordered. Our residents and team had a blast simply holding, petting, and laughing with these sweet visitors. Sometimes the best moments are the ones you didn't plan for!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month – and at Artis, we know that supporting our residents means supporting the families and caregivers who love them, too.

Caregiving is meaningful work. It's also emotionally demanding in ways that are easy to minimize and hard to sustain alone. Nearly 1 in 4 U.S. adults are currently caring for a loved one – and many are doing so without much support of their own.
