Welcome to the Bridges to Wellness team, Aubri! Aubri has just finished her HUB training and onboarding and will begin to serve participants in Guernsey County through the East Central Ohio ESC very soon!!

Aubri states:

"Hi, my name is Aubri Stewart. If you meet me I am 6ft 1in. I am a retired Law Enforcement Officer from the Belmont County Sheriff's Office. I spent 14 years of active duty until a car accident ended my career. During my recovery a family member who worked in the school systems asked me to be a substitute teacher for the Jefferson County JVS. I spent 4 years with the JVS and transferred to the Harrison Career Center as an In School Suspension Monitor. I stayed with the Jefferson County JVS in the evenings as the Adult Education Coordinator and still presently in that position until Nov. I am also an instructor in the Youngstown State Police academy held at the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
I have been married to my husband Ryan who is the son of one of my partners at the sheriff's office and is also a Deputy Sheriff. (Yes I make fun of my father-in-law for this). We have four cats: 3 kittens Espresso, Brew, Beans and my old lady Peanut who is 19.
My husband and I love the outdoors, we hunt and fish together and our faith in God is very important to us. I also love to paint. I have been painting since I was a child. Landscapes and characters are my favorite thing to paint.
I will tell you that my friends tease me because since I was a child I have loved Walt Disney and I have a Disney room in my home. It's Ok I know I'm weird. I also have a great sense of humor. I look forward to meeting you. God Bless!"

We are excited to have her join our Bridges to Wellness team and look forward to her serving participants and seeing the impact she will make!!

Our families in Tuscarawas County were prepared again this year for back-to-school thanks to the incredible generosity of Ruth and Dan Long from Republic State Mortgage Co.!

We are beyond grateful for their continued support of our organization. This year, they kindly donated over 100+ backpacks filled with classroom-specific supplies, ensuring that our families felt confident, prepared, and ready for the new school year.

Ruth and Dan, you are truly amazing — thank you for making such a meaningful difference in our community! ā¤ļø

Thank you to Paula Lancaster for helping organize each year, we are incredibly thankful.

Welcome to the Bridges to Wellness team, Stacy! Stacy is finishing her HUB training and onboarding and will begin to serve participants in Guernsey County through the East Central Ohio ESC here soon!!

Stacy states:

"I live in New Concord with my husband Troy, our Dog Lady and Cat Lilah. I enjoy gardening/food preservation, watching sports (especially Ohio State and Pittsburgh!!!) travel, and photography. Professionally, I have been in healthcare for over 15 years. During that time, I spent 5 years as a case manager for those involved in the legal system due to alcohol and drug abuse. What I enjoy about all of the jobs I have had is simply being able to help people. I am excited to work in my community. I am also excited to work with school age children as this will be a new age group for me."

We are extremely thrilled to have her join our Bridges to Wellness team and look forward to seeing her impact with individuals and families in Guernsey County!!

Community collaboration is key to healthy families, something that Access Tusc was founded on.

We continue in that mission to break down barriers. This was evident today with Bridges to Wellness, Cleveland Clinic Labor and Delivery, Cleveland Clinic UPS OB/GYN office, the Health Department’s from Stark and Tuscarawas county, ļæ¼and Immigrant Coordinator- Rocia all coming together to offer a successful OB class.

Our families were educated on the importance of prenatal care, obstetrical emergencies, the Bridges to Wellness Program, car seat safety, and touring of the OB floor. ļæ¼

Thank you to all these ladies for taking time out of their Saturday to put these families first! We can’t appreciate you enough!

Tosha states,

"Hi! My name is Tosha Clark, and I’m a Community Health Worker through Friends of The Homeless in Tuscarawas County. Five beautiful children call me mom, and we have two German Shepherds-the real babies of the family. I’ve spent about 12 years working in the local food service industry, and I’ve also worked as a cardiac tech at Aultman Hospital. These days, along with my full-time role, I also pick up shifts at Springvale Health Centers on the crisis unit. Helping people, especially those who are often overlooked, is something I am truly passionate about. I’m excited to be out in the community, doing work that matters and making a difference wherever I can!"

WOW! CHW DAY 2025! June 6, 2025- What a fantastic day this has been here at the Access Tusc office for all of our Community Health Workers across all 11 counties. This celebration has been so deserved and we could not have spent it more relaxing and welcoming. We started off the day with a warm welcome from District 51- State Representative Jodi Salvo who discussed and emphasized how important Community Health Workers are and the role they play in the lives of those in our community. Not only recognizing them for their time and energy, but their devotion and heart they pour into their participants! The truest definition of selfless!! We thank her for this welcome and appreciate the support she shows and advocates for. We spent the morning having a breakfast provided by AmeriHealth & learned more about AmeriHealth Caritas Ohio and the benefits and experience they bring to Ohio Medicaid eligible clients. We then played bingo, tie dyed t shirts, played family feud in teams, and enjoyed nice discussions over our lunch to wrap up our celebration. We could not do what we do without the work of our Community Health Workers. Thank you for all of the work you put in day in and day out. Your hard work never goes unnoticed!!!! šŸ’ž
