Finding the right care is crucial when your child is diagnosed with a food allergy. That’s why our Cincinnati Children's Clinical Research Studies team is recruiting for a study to see if a specialist infant formula designed for food allergy will be tolerated by infants and children with cow’s milk allergy. We're seeking infants and children 3 months to 12 years old. Approved participants will receive payment. Learn more through the link in the comments.

Over 100 teens from at‑risk communities came together for a powerful day of healing, empowerment and purpose as we hosted the “Live Life and Walk in Your Purpose” Youth Summit, created by Violence Prevention Professional Keiana Rogers of the Hope and Shield Network, and the founder of H.E.R. Holloman Enterprise Resources.

Created in response to rising youth gun violence, the summit united teens, helped disrupt neighborhood conflicts and offered space for real conversations about emotional intelligence, mental wellness, leadership and self-worth — all while addressing the root causes of violence.

From inspiring breakout sessions to a confidence‑boosting fashion showcase, live performances and exciting giveaways, the day was full of connection, growth and hope for a brighter future.

Holly Bachus, a nurse on our A3N inpatient surgical short-stay team, earned the DAISY Award for her exceptional compassion, care, and dedication to patients and families.

When Holly cared for a young patient just out of surgery, she went above and beyond. She patiently explained every step, listened with true empathy, and never rushed or dismissed fears. Her positivity and reassurance gave the patient confidence to speak openly, knowing she was heard and respected.

Holly didn’t stop there—she checked in the next day, even when she wasn’t assigned to the patient, and made sure the family understood the care plan. She treated everyone as partners in care, turning a stressful experience into one filled with trust and hope.

💬 “She embodies everything the DAISY Award stands for,” the family shared.

Thank you, Holly, for making such a meaningful difference! 👏

Jameson’s story is all about strength. He entered the world in our Cincinnati Children's Fetal Care Center and faced Goldenhar syndrome—a rare condition that impacts facial and organ development. From day one, Jameson proved what resilience looks like. He spent 82 days in the NICU, where our team celebrated every milestone that brought him closer to home.

Today, Jameson continues to see specialists each month, including ENT, pulmonary, ophthalmology, human genetics, plastic surgery, and audiology. Through it all, he loves watching Bluey and spending time with Mom and Dad.

This , we celebrate incredible kids like Jameson! 💙

End 2025 right. Start 2026 bright.

How? By giving hope to kids who need it most.

Holiday donors fuel research breakthroughs, innovative treatments and brighter futures not just for our patients, but for children everywhere.

Here’s the best part: Hyundai Hope On Wheels is matching all gifts, dollar-for-dollar. That means twice the hope and twice the impact.

What better way to ring in the new year? Every dollar you give by midnight tonight is a hug for a kid who needs someone like you to believe in them. Thanks for being a hero tonight!

Elijah often spoke up about stomachaches—but at 12, the pain became severe. Doctors diagnosed him with pancreatitis and admitted him to the hospital. They didn’t expect it to return, but it did—again and again. Eventually, Elijah received a diagnosis of acute recurrent pancreatitis, and managing the pain became the only option.

That’s when his mom reached out to our Pancreas Care Center. He was re-diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis, and our team placed five stents in his pancreas. Ultimately, Elijah needed a TPIAT—a complex procedure that removes the pancreas, appendix, gallbladder, and spleen, and retrains the liver to produce insulin. We’re proud to be one of the few institutions offering this life-changing surgery for kids.

Since his procedure, Elijah has returned to the life he loves—concerts, marching band, and planning for his future.

This , we celebrate Elijah and all the incredible kids who inspire us every day! 💙
