As a leading nonprofit provider of substance use disorder services for nearly 30 years, Phoenix House Florida treats adolescents at our Derek Jeter Center and adults at our Outpatient Counseling Center in Brandon. At Phoenix House Florida, we know addiction impacts everyone differently. That’s why we offer individualized treatment that addresses both substance use and mental health for teens and adults.

If you or a loved one is struggling, help is available. We offer Outpatient Treatment, Intensive Outpatient Treatment, Medication-Assisted Treatment, and residential care.

🌟 Funding is available for Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Treatment if you are uninsured. We also accept commercial insurance and Medicaid.

🚶‍♀️WALK-INS🚶‍♀️are welcome at our Outpatient locations from 9am - 2pm.

Our Outpatient locations are in Brandon and Tampa.

Getting ready to start treatment at Phoenix House Florida? We want to make your arrival as smooth and comfortable as possible. Here’s what to bring with you:

✔️ ID/Insurance: Picture ID, insurance, and prescription cards
✔️ Medical Info: Hospital discharge papers, PPD skin test or chest X-ray results (if available)
✔️ Medications: All prescriptions in their current bottles (doctor-approved meds can be used until new ones are filled)
✔️ Clothing: 7–10 days of casual wear + gym clothes (nothing revealing, drug/alcohol-related, or offensive)
✔️ Toiletries: Alcohol-free shampoo, conditioner, lotion, electric razors (no aerosols)
✔️ Laundry: Facilities on site (detergent provided)
✔️ Personal Items: Books, paper, pens, pencils, non-digital alarm clock

🚫 Please leave valuables, personal bedding, electronics, weapons, and any alcohol-based products at home.
