Phoenix House Florida is a nonprofit addiction treatment program for adults and adolescents in Tampa. Addiction is a disease, but recovery is a lifestyle.

As a leading nonprofit provider of substance use disorder services for nearly 30 years, Phoenix House Florida treats adolescents at our Derek Jeter Center and adults at our Outpatient Counseling Center in Brandon. In Marion County, our residential facility treats adult men and women with substance use and related mental health conditions. We empower people to live without the impacts of drugs and alcohol.

At Phoenix House Florida’s Men’s Residential Facility in Citra, we’re dedicated to helping men 18 and older build brighter, healthier futures.

Our 20-bed program offers a safe, supportive environment where each individual receives personalized, evidence-based care designed to foster lasting recovery and personal growth. From therapy to skill-building, every part of our program is centered around empowering men to take back control of their lives and discover their full potential.

Phoenix House Florida was proud to join the Community Organizations Providing Services (C.O.P.S.) Fair hosted by the Pasco Sheriff’s Office Victim Advocate Unit.

As ma*****na becomes more accessible and socially accepted, new research reveals rising use and risk among veterans 65 and older. A recent study found that 1 in 10 older veterans used ma*****na in the past 30 days, and over a third of those met criteria for Cannabis Use Disorder (CUD).

These findings highlight the importance of awareness, early screening, and support for veterans who may be struggling. At Phoenix House Florida, we’re committed to helping individuals understand the risks, recognize problematic use, and access evidence-based treatment.
