Diamond Art is a favorite. Tuesday and Thursday are “official” days but there are always several people working on their project. Good thing about this is that you can do it at Senior Connection or at home. Barbara Barron is our Leader.

Had a good turn out for exercise class

Had lots of people on our Game Room. Guys playing checkers…waiting on Larry. And Bingo tables are almost full. These ladies are faithful to their Bingo game. Linda Calfee makes it fun. Plus she does all the shopping for prizes. And she is much appreciated.

Barbara Barron, our Diamond Art Leader helps Shelia Austin show off two pictures she just finished. This is a great class held every Tuesday and Thursday. Lots of completed pictures on display. Come by and take a look at it.

Senior Connection would like to thank Mayor Price for talking with us last Wednesday about steps that are being made to create a facility that covers the needs of our active Senior population. He spoke to a standing room only crowd about what is involved … site selection, design, financing…and it is obvious that a lot of planning has already been done. We appreciate him letting us be part of this important community project.
