Jackson, I'm so glad I get to be your mom! I love you so much and I'm really grateful you are part of our family. You make me laugh, remind me to "chill out", and bring so much joy to our family every day.

10/10 Elementary Art Project!
We studied about the Northern Lights and Scandinavian artists like Edvard Much, Urban Larsson, and Frederic Erwin Church's Aurora Borealis.
They made these with on black paper with chalk pastel and stencils of hills, mountains and treetops. Then they colored the sky in bright colors and blended with fingers (the art tool you always have with you!!)
On day 2, they ripped paper and glued on the snowy hill. I took them one table group at a time to stamp their trees with cardstock paper and white tempera paint.
These turned out beautiful and I can't wait to hang them in the halls when we return from winter break!!

Tyler received his mission assignment and opened it last night! He is going to the Stockholm, Sweden Mission!!! 🇸🇪✨️💙 we are absolutely thrilled and cant believe this is happening! We are so excited for his upcoming adventure and opportunity to serve the Lord and the people in Sweden! I have ancestors from Sweden so this feels incredibly important, and I can feel that this is a divine calling! Tyler especially wanted a colder climate, and he will get to see the Northern Lights!! We are still kind of in shock, but in a good way. God is Good!!

Tyler is such an awesome kid! He is creative and kind, funny and clever. He is smart and athletic. We love this kid so much!!
