Kaylie Grace

Kaylie Grace Kaylie has Cerebral Palsy, it doesn't have her! A note from mom - My perfect daughter was born about 2 months early. Because of that she has Cerebral Palsy.

Her mission is to advocate for people with disabilities and show everyone that just because she rolls instead of walks doesn't mean she can't DO!! I always joke she couldn't wait to get into this world! We have never babied or coddled her because of different abilities. And if she wanted to try something we supported her. She is BRAVE! I admire that about my now beautiful 17 year old young lady. B

ut I always have the mom feelings and visions of my tiny preemie in the NICU just fighting on as we befriended other NICU parents and watched some preemies become angels. It is a struggle one doesn't forget, it affects your soul. So when you receive a diagnosis of CP, it isn't fatal, you can live with it as long as you don't live FOR it. You can some days be blessed for it because you are here, she is living, she is feisty, she is smart, she can talk to you like a normal teen, she tries to sneak candy like a average kid but she uses a wheelchair. To Kaylie it's just a means of transportation and freedom, not an obstacle, not something that stands in her way of anything she really wants.
