🚨 Urgent Help Needed! 🚨

Motor City Mitten Mission, a local nonprofit serving people experiencing homelessness in Metro Detroit, is down to its last blanket. With cooler nights upon us, hundreds of men, women, and even children are sleeping outside or in cars without the basics to stay warm.

While many have already stepped up with blanket donations, the need doesn’t stop there. MCMM also urgently needs men’s clothing, hygiene items, gloves, water, snacks, and gift cards to local fast food restaurants.

As we observe Labor Day, let’s appreciate the efforts of those around us, from healthcare professionals to educators and small business owners. Every job contributes uniquely to our community, and expressing gratitude to those who work tirelessly is essential.

A couple of weeks ago, Hema-Tec accomplished one of its biggest feats yet.

Twenty of our Michigan team members traveled to Wisconsin and successfully implemented five hospitals at Ascension Wisconsin in just one weekend—with patients beginning treatment that Monday morning. 💪

To support this growth, we also welcomed 20 new team members in Wisconsin, who quickly completed Nipro machine training, hospital orientation, and much more. We’re thrilled to have them as part of the Hema-Tec family!

This implementation was a massive undertaking—many thought it couldn’t be done. But our team proved otherwise. Their hard work, dedication, and collaboration made it happen.

We couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve accomplished together. This milestone is a true reflection of what’s possible when great people come together with a shared mission—and we’re just getting started.
