🆘 PLEASE share near and far! There has to be someone out there that can save me🆘
Hello! It’s been awhile. So much going on… I have a lot to say so I’ll be long…
Ok, I was going to post this later but afraid I’ll forget something. I just sent this to a dear friend of mine.

So my appt Tuesday was great at points then depressing. I’m grateful I’m still able to actually be able to have a transplant… for now.
Doing in clinic dialysis is not good for me. They want me to do at home. Ok no problem. Then he was saying with the calcification my body is naturally producing, with in 5 yrs he woundnt be able to do transplant.
Then the worst news…. He said according to the data base, diabetics with so many issues, like myself, doing dialysis, 90% die after 5 yrs. I’m on yr 4 right now. I could already tell before I was told. I know my body. Regular ppl that have less issues or no issues other than kidney failure, can last yrs on machine.
He told us, he suggests I try my best to get as many living donors to test. With my antibodies it could be yrs to get one waiting on list - and I won’t make it.
He also explained that they did an 8 person swap!! That’s amazing!!
You WILL live a normal life afterwards. I have friends that donated and are living normal lives. Now if some freak accident happens and hurts your kidneys, you would be put on top of transplant list since you donated.
I really need my family, friends and even strangers, to pull together and help save my life because I KNOW there’s not much left 😢
I have so much I want to do.
I’ll attach info for both current places I’m registered to. May be another here soon. Each hospital has their own criteria.
I’m also going to tag ppl who have offered but I was not able to get the info to them.
Idk, I hope this helps me. Share far and wide. I’ve signed a paper I’d take a previous Hep C kidney. I won’t get the virus. Then I signed for a Hep C+ but will get treatment after to cure it. I’m willing to take that risk bc I know where I’m at and desperate now.
