OCT 2025 UPDATE - 21 Days For The Lord
In my last email I announced that Emmie's Remedies was basically shutting down after Christmas. But it doesn't look like that will be the case. I am a stay at home mom, homeschooling 4 kids and desperation hit. With the economy and personal financial struggles, we felt like we were hitting rock bottom.
As a family we took 21 Day For The Lord, where all 6 pairs of eyes focused on Jesus in this time of crisis for 21 Days. Some of us gave things up for Jesus, some of us did "Bible Club" and some of us just prayed through those days.
Today is day 21 and we dodged a major fraud attack on our personal finances; I have applied to every work-from-home job on the internet (and even a local gig helping a pizza truck vendor). But a few things happened today, the sun came up. Our homeschooling went smoothly, means to pay off a debt came and my $10 Business Registration Renewal Fee came.
In this time, I have joined a business club for support, and I have been praying every day. I know that God has heard our prayers, that He is moving in our lives and while the answers aren't so clear He has given my husband and I a mindset of determination.
My emmiesremedies.com is up already, and I will be operating it a bit different to make sure orders go out in a timely fashion and also I can handle the work load that comes in. I used to make things as ordered, then I got too many customers and did some on-demand orders and some pre-made. This made fullfilling orders difficult when multiple orders come in with different products that need to be made on demand. Formulating, manufacturing for one person is simple, but to do that for a busy week of 30 orders is just impossible for this one woman business. Which is why I'll only be selling pre-made ready to ship products.
You may see the stock become more simplified as I adjust to this new system. But honestly I think both you and I will be much happier this way. Feel free all my dear and loyal customers who love naturally derived products to send emails with questions, product requests (though I might not be willing to do them all) and any concerns. I always love getting to know the people who are behind me, supporting our family and I appreceiate each and every one of you.
