This week, our Empath Partners in Care Outreach team had the privilege of supporting the Back to School Bash with Hillsborough County Public Schools, Hope for Her, and ECHO Emergency Care Help Organization. It’s always a privilege to be involved in such impactful community events!

This week, our EPIC Outreach team was honored to support the Back to School Bash hosted by Hillsborough County Schools, Hope for Her, and ECHO. We connected with growing families, shared important health information, and provided education about our TOPWA program. It was a meaningful day filled with support, encouragement, and smiles as families get ready for the new school year.

When Mallory arrived with her guitar, Irmagard had no idea her 100th birthday would be unforgettable.

Thanks to our Party Pals program, teen volunteer Mallory sang “Happy Birthday," and even serenaded Irmagard with a Taylor Swift song.

“I’ve never had a birthday like this before,” she told us.

At Empath Health, we believe every milestone deserves celebration. Especially a century.

So proud to see Lin Oakerson, one of our amazing Tidewell Hospice volunteers, featured in the Sarasota Herald-Tribune!

As an end-of-life doula, Lin brings calm, compassion, and presence to families during some of life’s most tender moments. She helps patients explore final wishes, create legacy projects, and find peace in saying goodbye.

Lin was recently honored by the Manatee Chamber of Commerce as the Adult Volunteer of the Year at the 2025 Champions of Healthcare Awards, and now her story is reaching even more hearts.
