Parkinson's Protocol Revised
This is a revision to my original protocol posted on Facebook in April of 2026. I continue to work on improving the quality of care available to you or to someone you know who may benefit from this information. While not many new items are being added to the protocol, the ones I am now including are important. I'll also endeavor to be clear and uncomplicated in my updates. To those of you who follow me and to those who may benefit, I sincerely hope that you find this information useful every day. Thank you for your questions; they inspire and drive me to be a better Doctor for all.
I developed this protocol for a friend who has been dealing with this affliction for the past four years. I'm not going to call Parkinson's a disease, because it's not. It is, in my opinion, the result of accumulated toxins, heavy metals in the brain, along with some residual bacterial and viral presence, and stress. To clear this successfully and restore your state of health to where it was prior to its onset, the following steps will help. How much they help and how soon is dependent on you and your willingness to recover. Nothing else, no meds, period.
First, gut health is essential. The balance between good and not-so-good bacteria needs to be reestablished. You do this by using a multi-strain probiotic daily. This is best taken before food, each morning. Of particular importance is a bacterial strain known as Lactiplantibacillus plantarum, formerly called (Lactobacillus plantarum). This particular strain that is commonly found in fermented foods. It has been shown to improve digestion, brain health, and has anti-viral and antioxidant properties as well. There are several published articles on this probiotic. I think that it's good for you to do some research for yourselves. The National Institute for Health and others have information available. The more that you learn about things that help you, the more inclined you will be to use them. Sitting and waiting for the next new wonder drug to be produced is not a strategy to regain your health. Active self-participation is.
Second, the use of digestive enzymes taken with food to be able to actually extract the nutrients from the food that you are eating is needed. These are taken with each meal, each day. If you purchase a supplement, be sure that it has the following enzymes, not just a single enzyme. It should have Amylase, which breaks down starch, Lipase, which breaks down fats, Lactase, which breaks down sugar in dairy, Sucrase, which breaks down common table sugar, and Protease, which breaks down proteins. Additionally, you will need Systemic Proteolytic enzymes taken between meals. These enzymes are commonly called Bromelain, Serrapeptase, Nattokinase, Trypsin, Chymotrypsin, and Pancreatin. The job of these enzymes is to break down proteins in the bloodstream and tissues. They are very important in our goal to break down brain plaques. They also clean the blood of particulate matter, bacteria, and viruses that should not be there. Left unattended, these migrate to the brain, cause inflammation, and the subsequent formation of plaque, along with damage to neurons, dendrites, and affect hormone production. That's how you got this affliction in the first place.
Third, we need to add some amino acids and oils to help the damaged brain repair itself. Coconut oil taken at 1000 mg three times a day repairs damaged nerve endings while the amino acids NAC (N-Acetylcysteine), Taurine, Choline, and Proline assist in this process. I’ll also mention that increasing the level of NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) in the body has been shown to greatly improve brain health. I recommend a supplement called Tru Niagen, which uses a patented form of vitamin B3 to raise the levels by about 50%. This is a pricey product that you can substitute with vitamin B3. Along these same lines is a vital fatty acid called PS (Phosphatidylserine). This helps to protect your brain cells, aids in neuron communication, and supports overall brain function. It is commonly available as are all of the supplements that I refer to.
Fourth, to help reduce inflammation and clear debris from the brain, Curcumin and vitamin D3, taken daily, are needed. Please note that you should be getting your magnesium and potassium from fresh foods, eaten or juiced daily.
Fifth, physical movement is needed to awaken and stimulate nerve transmission and muscle motor movement. My training as a TCM Doc has me favoring Qi gong, which is a TCM medical exercise. Exercise should be done at least once but preferably three times a day for 30 minutes each session.
Sixth, Acupuncture and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) formulas are used to alleviate pain, increase circulation, and stimulate your body's own natural stem cell production. Acupuncture (estim) at points DU20 and STS36 will increase the stem cell production by 200-300%. Acupuncture is also used to guide these stem cells to the brain to speed the recovery. A TCM formula called Tian ma gou teng yin, has been successfully used to help reduce muscle tremors and spasms. A board-certified licensed acupuncturist can order that for you. I’ve also seen it available online.
Seventh, there are light and sound therapies. Red light pulsed at 40Hz, and sound at the same frequency has been demonstrated to speed the reduction of brain plaques and help to clear this particulate matter. In an article from the Picower Institute they discuss how this has been shown to be effective in mouse studies. While we are not rodents, we’re close in many ways. You can wait for the studies, double blind trials, etc., or you can help to heal yourself now by taking advantage of these technologies. You can purchase a Red Light therapy device for about $100.00 US and a sound generator for about the same. You don’t need to spend thousands of dollars on this equipment.
Lastly, your unwavering belief, prayer, and daily affirmations that you will recover will prevail. Parkinson's is not a death sentence. Your diagnosis was a pronouncement placed upon you by someone who does not know or chooses not to give you the information and tools that you need to recover. Be their motivation, medical, political, or monetary.
There are many Parkinson's groups posting erroneous information, pronouncing doom and despair. Stay away from negativity. It cures nothing. The Western meds also cure nothing. Not one person, anywhere, ever.
Please share this post as you like. I wish you a return to health. You were there before, and you can return.
I receive no compensation from any product, person or organization for this information. This is not medical advice; it is my professional opinion.
May you heal as you were designed and intended to.
